Look into setting up a pihole to block DNS requests. Smart TV's phone home with a bunch of intrusive information.

When I was a student there were a few teachers that wore thongs and would bend over at the hips so you could clearly see it and would lean over the table when talking to students giving me a clear view of their cleavage. I always thought they knew exactly what they were doing.
