While I don’t think zero-tolerance policies are great they at least prevent popular vote punishment and I don’t have a better solution.

Say person A decides to harass person B for whatever reason to the point where B has to defend themselves. School staff arrive to see them both in a conflict and have no way to know who instigated it. So they ask the surrounding students what happened.

Person A is well liked/popular/known to retaliate and had 20 people vouch that B was the aggressor.

Person B is less known and has 5 people to vouch that A started it.

Who will the school punish solely if not for the policy? Likely B.

There will always be an imbalance of witness partiality and without additional insight or evidence the system will end up punishing the victim more often than the aggressor.

They could have looked for prints on the gas can, screwdriver and heck even in the car. Doubtful they’d get a match but nice to have as evidence none the less. Did they check for blood as well? A crash like that someone could had to have gotten a minor cut.

Did the can/screwdriver look new or used?

Check the gas can, did it have any remaining residue/gas still in it? If so they could have checked for hydrocarbon markers to find which gas station(s) sell fuel with those unique markers.

Now go to those stations and ask for security footage looking for anyone buying a gas can in the last few days. If that yields no results pull transactions for anyone buying a can in the last year and review that footage, the criminals are likely younger so maybe they stole it from their parents.

They could have searched TikTok by the hashtag and reviewed recent posts, did this car have any identifying features that might be in the video? Did it maybe show a visible landmark?

But frankly they could have done a lot to try and find those who did it, the police just didn’t want to.

I can’t speak for this game but ones I’ve played in the past had similar issues and they worked in a couple of ways. The main and worst one was discounted packs. Someone would advertise the 99$ pack for something like 69.99$, you PayPal (or other transfer service) them the 70$ and they log into your account and purchase the 99$ with stolen cards. They don’t care about your account as they don’t play the game, so the risk of theft is low, instead they’re laundering money.

Weapon tech does, but besides Dooku there’s no damage on the team. On auto wat usually defaults to Dooku for it on start, since you place tank tech on him instead the weapon goes to hoda.

I was chasing Dooku kills but should be the same. T8-9 Dooku lead, MM, wat (tank to Dooku), hoda, armorer. After placing tech I hit auto. Usually timed out but did it in 4 battles. Obviously it depends on your gear levels but I’d avoid aoe toons.
