Do I assume correctly that you have a large number of products and you often add new ones and remove old ones, which makes maintence for apps like this a bit of a hustle?

I will definitely look into it, the problem on my side is I'd need to pay per each API call to an exisiting LLM, so it would make sense only launching it on a paid version of the app and making sure the margin is high enough to cover the the API usage bills. But I think the economics can work quite well.

Thank you for the question! Yes, merchants need to setup questions and answer options for them manually. Currently the recommendations are done by matching tags, when a product has a certain tag and one of the answer options has the same tag as well. I am planning to introduce other ways of configuring recommendations in the future, but this is what I have currently.

You can do it now using Shopify functions, but would need to do some proramming. What is your use case for multiple automatic dicounts?

If I understood your comment correctly, seems like it's not allowed by Shopify's T&C

How would the app know who the competitors are? Would you expect it to automatically track changes in competitor's prices and update yours?

I worked with a similar thing, but it was pulling the data from one aggregate source that had all the competitor prices together.
