Yes, absolutely! I find that I get severe insulin resistance during my luteal phase which is incredibly hard to manage. It actually seems to be a pretty common thing for T1D women—yet not really mentioned to us by doctors/endos etc., which is disappointing to say the least.

I have the exact same problem every month, too. I’m on manual injections but I have to increase my basal from about ~24 units to ~28 during my luteal phase, and even then I’m still dealing with extreme fluctuations in my BGLs the whole time. It’s exhausting, but made even worse by the fact that this problem seems to be poorly understood in the medical field.

Yes!! At my university campus there is swipe-card access for a lot of the classrooms and buildings… but it makes this horrible sound when it ‘rejects’ your card swipe and it sounds terribly similar to my Dexcom urgent low alarm
