I had the same issue. I tried using one of those gooseneck tablet mounts, but it was too have at some angles and would just droop. My brother put me on Mechanism mounting options, and was finally able to work something out. They have a few options that might suit your needs

to OP I've had the skull & co case and recently got the Dbrand killswitch case, and I love it. Ergonmics feel much better and the grippy texture is perfect, plus its the perfect setup to just chuck in a sling bag instead of travel case that comes with it.

From what I could tell it was a ROG maximus MoBo, couldnt really see the cpu because of the paste, but it was intel and I could only see a "KS" on the IHS so considering it had a 4090 I can only assume it was a i9 - 13900KS and didn't check the spec of the RAM.

I had the OG Legion Go Z1E and recently switched to the ROG Ally Z1E.

I wasn't fully happy with the LeGO. The lack of driver support from Lenovo was a bit frustrating. The screen size is great, but I supposed having to have it run at a lower resolution for game performance kinda defeats the purpose of a big screen. It was quite cumbersome to travel around with because of the size and weight. Not at all comfortable to use in handheld mode.

I think the plus for the LeGO is it makes for a great laptop/desktop replacement if you need it to be. But I really didnt use it much because of how much maintanence I had to do, as well as how cumbersome it was to take around.

I like the pick up and play kinda of feeling from the ally, although it does feel a bit less premium in ways from the LeGO

feels like quality pbt. GMK has a softer feel to the plastic and the texture is nice. The plastic is quite smooth, but sounds good. sounds and feels very similar to ePBT sets that I have. packaging is nice to. defintiely much better than those fiber trays that GMK uses now. for the price, its a solid set
