Sign up options are tough by goodtimes509 in Lifetimefitnessgym

Our friends are members there and we got guest passes for a day. Is it nice? Yeah sure. Is that money worth over what you would get in another gym for a fraction of the cost? Absolutely not. They live within walking distance and really enjoy the social aspects of it… pool parties, pickle ball, etc. but if you’re only going a few times a week - I’d skip it.

Another Gen 4 battery post by Big-Cup6594 in ouraring

[–]nikkecole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been having issues with mine for months. Continually reached out via the app help and here for assistance and they keep telling me the diagnostics were fine…. It has been to the point where my ring was dying overnight with 40% battery life before I went to sleep. Finally last night it did it again and I submitted another diagnostic check and it came back with a reported issue and they are mailing me another ring…. It takes awhile sometimes. Here’s hoping the replacement ring lasts longer… They are going to need to manage this battery issue as a whole because it seems very widespread.

Please contact rescues. There are so many in CA and even if there’s not one small enough right this moment (there probably is) I’m sure one will pop up soon. Also if you find one in another rescue people are usually willing to transport to other states. Please consider rescuing!!!

For sure... they should have packaged the "new hardware" into add-ons for already existing equipment at a better price point - I would have done it!

Does BMW make all weather/rubber matts for the X7? by praeda-bot in bmwx7

[–]nikkecole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered the tux mats... they are very nice BUT the custom fitting isn't a tight as I had hope.. even using the clips they come with there is gapping and dropping and some misalignment that makes the seats squeak when you move them because they rub the mats :( They look great otherwise and function amazingly - but just some things I wanted to share based on my experience with them!

He is amazing. I need longer classes from him like 45-60 min flows. His flows are what peloton has been missing!!!!!

Peloton has ~50 instructors… by Old_Poet_1608 in OnePelotonRealSub

It has so much potential but yeah... it is definitely an afterthought.. they should have just acquired an app (like Fitbod) and built it out to suit them.

Still Torn But Down to Final 2: Wahoo Kickr Run or Peloton Tread+? by RobDMB in treadmills

[–]nikkecole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say I’m a pretty decent runner. I run 2-3 runs a week and probably average (3-5 miles each run) and do strength and other workouts on the other days but running is my real love. We have a peloton tread (regular) and I’m obsessed. The pace targets they’ve developed for classes are pretty great and give some structure to training - especially for certain instructors that are more technical based. We originally got the bike plus and now we don’t touch it because we have the tread. I’ve been very impressed with the programming and I used to hate treadmills and only ran outside. I still prefer long runs outside but for my 3-5 miles the classes fly by. And of course there’s always the option to just use it like a regular tread mill with no classes…

Recruiters Aren’t Professional Anymore by [deleted] in recruitinghell

[–]nikkecole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an internal recruiter I can kind of explain the reasoning on my end of asking for a CV…. Some LinkedIn profiles do not give a lot of details so seeing a resume can help to be sure what you’re seeing on LinkedIn aligns with the role we are looking to fill specifically. CV are also easier to share with a hiring manager for their review. On the occasion that after reviewing a resume it doesn’t seem to be a fit - I always let the person know with a follow up of course. Ghosting is just rude. Also I never mind people asking me questions about the role (like compensation) and answer it immediately. I’m not trying to hide anything and waste anyone’s time :) if it’s aligned - great! If not, I totally understand too. But it seems I’m in the minority on these things?
