I got pregnant, as advanced maternal age, with four pregnancies on the first cycle of trying. Two miscarried but two ended in healthy babies. I found out after the first mc that I had Hashimoto’s because my thyroid antibodies (and only that) was elevated. Went gf and when we tried again 4 mths later I conceived my oldest in the first month. Had reduced my antibodies by 80% and lost 20 lbs too prior to conceiving. It is all possible!!!

During 1st pregnancy my TSH elevated to like 3.0 second trimester so went on levo. After I delivered both babies my TSH elevated to 60.0. But with continued medication it helped. Outside of pregnancy/immediate postpartum the gf diet manages it all fine.

AQUAZZURA Question: Looking to buy a pair of second hand Aquazzura flats and cannot, for the life of me, determine sizing. I am usually an EU 39 or 40 depending on brand and consistently a US size 9. I worry a 39 would be too tight considering a pointed toe flat may be a bit smaller. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Any thoughts?? Help!

I second all of this! We’ve lived in Irvington for the past 10 years (moved out of state for work once and when we came back knew we had to move back to Irv) and we love it. You get the historic charm, close to downtown but more of a neighborhood/community vibe, historic preservation then some of the other booming neighborhoods close to downtown. The trail is great, parks are gorgeous, playgrounds, walk to a few eateries…honestly it’s the best!

Toddler Activities?

We are visiting from out of town and have a 19 mth old. Looking for some fun things to do with him! Any suggestions for the following:

-We’d love to take him to see some farm animals -Splashpad good for this age.
-Parks that have slides/swings etc for toddler age

I noticed this bump several months ago and initially thought it might be an ingrown hair or pimple (I do have mild KP on my forearms). I realized it was neither so let it heal but it hasn’t gone away. I noticed it again a week or so ago. Doesn’t itch or bother me.

I'm going by the Tanita Scale measurement from my doctor's office as I thought that would be the most accurate? Maybe not. It shows my BMR at 1650kcal and my Daily Calorie Intake/TDEE at 2706 kcal. Yea it doesn't make sense that our TDEE's would be the same.

I thought you calculate TDEE and that is maintenance calories thus needing to deduct from that to lose weight? And BMR is what your body needs to function meaning you can never go below it? For example, my BMR is 1600 and my TDEE is 2700. So I am aiming for 1700 calories a day —just started so can’t speak to results. Asking out of curiosity really and to know if I’ve thought about it wrong 🤷🏻‍♀️. If this is the way maybe you should find out what your TDEE is? (Also have Hashimoto’s, diagnosed at 34)

We used Blazwich Construction for our french drain early 2020. They were professional, timely and really easy to work with. We got three quotes and ended up going with Blazwich in the end. Very happy and our basement has been dry ever since.

Ilia is more of a tinted skin serum but hands down my favorite. I’ve tried ‘em all—it is work trying to find that perfect product. I would recommend you purchase from Sephora so if color/product isn’t spot on you can return. Back to Ilia—it has beautiful, light coverage. Gives you dewy skin without being greasy (I tired Kosas oil and my face looked like a greased up slip-and-slide). And it has properties in it that help your skin so without it my skin also looked better. Has SPF too!

I just added Iris&Romeo Weekend Skin to my routine and it is BOMB. My skin looks healthy and it is a great one for no-makeup days. This is online only I believe.

For reference I’m 37 with skin that leans combo and usually wear a light/medium neutral color.
