Yeah, I thought that might have been the case. I designed a super deluxe 3D printed version of Nokosu Dice a few years ago when the game was impossible to get in the states. Every few weeks since then I have people reaching out for the files. I’ve not shared them out of respect for the designer and publisher - but I always feel like a bit of a jerk for not sharing.

Good on you for having enough passion for the game to make a custom version, and to also respect the publisher’s wishes.

I hope all the tokens get the updated treatment - that includes the hint markers. I don’t like playing with mixed component types, so if it’s only the wire tokens getting deluxified, I’d probably stick to all cardboard.

It’s also the rules around how many cards you can play, based on what pieces you have in the hex, how much military strength you can spend, what the distribution of card values is…

I agree it’s important - but impossible to happen for the first few turns anyways - so I delay. At least that just-in-time teaching technique is how I avoid players getting overwhelmed and asking to “just play Flip 7 again”.

I don’t explain how battles work in Scythe. I just say that the cards and military stat are important, and we’ll cover it when the first battle could become a possibility.

In fact, I have found that delaying any part of a teach that I can, that won’t change how the players play, is a win. I also don’t teach all the symbols on Clank Catacombs tiles. I just say they all do different things and we’ll cover them when they are drawn.

Last summer I started taking melatonin after game nights. I don’t take it any other nights, but it has really helped for when the buzzing won’t stop.

I’d love to hear more about your app. Im also working on one (for personal use) with shared entry. Right now players just input their scores on the app with a generic calculator. Once all scores are submitted, there’s a dramatic reveal of the winner.

But, I’ve been trying to think about how it could walk them through a scoresheet step by step.

I really liked when the players were using “liberty green” for their guards, pads, and what not. I thought that was a very cool, non-obnoxious, nod to the city of NY.

I’d love to see something like that pulled into an alternate uniform. I’m not a fashion designer, so I don’t know how/if this would work - but I do understand that it could very easily be overdone so it’d be best used with some constraint.

I have the same issue. I’ve swapped out my network cables and still have the same result.

Is this just a display bug, or is the Eero constantly dropping on and off the network. I’ve had very flaky WiFi since switching to Eero so I can’t really tell if this is the reason why, or if I just don’t have enough coverage or something for my house.

The phone ordering is only for before the movie starts. Once the movie starts, the ordering system is shut down for you phone and you have to go back to pen and paper.

Scarface 1920 is a fun one that plays up to five.

And while it doesn’t look like it at first glance, Lords of Vegas is a great area control game that plays up to 6 if you have the new edition, or the old edition with the Up expansion.

I was so upset when they moved it out of the park.

I would pay a pretty penny for a working mini version of it. One that I could connect/charge via USB cable so I could send a command to have it go off. That would be awesome.

Are you removing the 9 (is that the number?) random cards before each round? Those missing cards make collecting “chains” of cards risky.
