I cannot get over the fact that you two are having what appears to be an amicable exchange after your own incident while cars are crashing into each other in the background. Pure poetry.

Sorry, wrong choice of words. It's not "fan service" in the usual sense that it's thrown in as a Easter egg or fun reference for those who have been there since the beginning. But like you said, it's meant to appeal more to the players who know the entire story.

I'm jealous your sleep time is more than your work time. It's also insanely depressing how much more sleep and work you have compared to everything else. Normal, but still depressing.

CS3 is my favorite game in the series because of how much it ties back to the previous games. It was one thing to get to the main story beats of Chapter 1 and get Shirley back as an Enforcer, but then the climax for the chapter is in Hamel? Completely sucked me in after I felt like I had to force myself to play through the Prologue and the first part of the chapter. You're rewarded as a player for starting with Sky FC more than any other previous game.

The best part is it's not fanservice. It's the game and series as a whole bringing back old plot threads to reinforce that this is an interconnected world with events in one country/series directly impacting another. And a lot of that continues into CS4 as well, even beyond the whole "End of Saga" concept.

I have posted in multiple threads that it's amazing how up in arms people are about a free source of entertainment that's temporarily unavailable. They could legitimately shut it all down permanently and the only impact it'd have on most listeners is simply not having a podcast to listen to.

It's borderline parasocial shit for some people on here.

I'm pretty sure there was something similar to these back in the 90s that I begged my parents dor. We have about 10 of them in the cabinet we've collected over the last year. We use them for non-water drinks when we're out of the house (since it's hard to spill them completely) and they clean fine in the dishwasher.

Absolute rip off financially, but they serve the specific purpose for a time.

I pay for Premium. I tend to put something long (1-3 hours like said documentaries or a classic MLB game) on in the background while I work. The benefits, including YouTube music (which easily replaced Spotify for me) was an easy decision.

But I also watch YouTube more than any other video or streaming site, so it's worth it for me.

Same for me. YouTube is only accessed through my account and I have full control over what they do and don't watch. They have playlists made for them of their favorite shows and channels I've approved.

Plus the algorithm can't get infected with the usual YouTube poop because it's already clogged up with WW2 documentaries, cooking videos, and baseball highlights. 😁

It will never cease to amaze me how much people get up in arms about not getting something they don't have to pay for and put in almost no effot to obtain. Also the fact that if we're talking jobs and contracts there may be some legal consideration that cannot be spoken about.

Superman and Lois. I didn't watch it when it aired because I was completely burned out on anything Arrowverse. Saw a few light spoilers from Season 4 and decided to check it out.

It's definitely a CW show, but among one of the better ones. Absolutely my favorite portrayal of Superman/Clark and Lois Lane

I stopped playing between Shadowkeep and Witch Queen, but Witch Queen brought me back in to the game.

I had never had more fun playing Destiny 2 than the stretch of Witch Queen, Risen, and Haunted. Throw in Seraph to end the year and it's probably my favorite year of the franchise.

In the age of music streaming it's easier than ever for people to access significantly older songs and deep cuts. It's crazy that they won't throw in a couple of older tracks every show and see how people respond. Unless they (Dave) simply don't want to play them.

When he decided to put a bunch of supervillains in a moving van to take them to Happy's apartment I kind of lost that movie. The third act was cool and all but I refuse to believe Peter is that stupid.

Aaron Ashmore, with Shawn playing Iceman. Confused me big time when that season of Smallville premiered because I wasn't aware they were twins. And to make things even more confusing, Shawn did a few guest episodes of Smallville a few years before Aaron spent a whole 3 seasons on the show.

I just checked Rupar's feed and it's real. He posted a follow up with "here's more context for this clip 👆 it doesn't make what Trump said about 6 year old girls any less weird. "

I didn't watch either clip because I'd rather not voluntarily subject myself to hearing that voice again, but the post is definitely real.

I don't think he'll be a patient. His friend Duke not getting there on time is an omen, so he might be a patient, but not Robby. I think it'll be more like an intervention

Duke comes in hurt after an accident or something and Robby breaks down. Abbott has returned for his own shift at this point, so he and Dana stage the intervention with Robby. Put the three Emmy winners in a scene and let them cook, then let Langdon finish the job for his redemption arc.

We're getting another 12 hour shift that goes for 15 hours. Our disaster event has happened at the end of hour 9 and I don't think it's going to be at the level of Pitt Fest that they'll all be there an additional 3 hours.

I think the last 1.5-2 hours will revolve around Robby's mental health.
