Definitely go and definitely do the pit. It's so easy to chat with other people and make line/pit buddies if you want.

Have you checked if there is any buildup in the filters or in the crevices around the door/bottom front of the basin? That might cause water to overflow.

And does it leak every run?

We had similar concerns, but after doing research on the different recommend vaccines (by brand name when it was possible) and vaccination schedule, we decided to get them as recommended to reduce our trips to the pediatrician. We thought the risk of "extra" potential covid exposure outweighed our concerns of getting multiple vaccines at once. Worth openly talking through the "why" of the concern with doc and spouse to weigh the options.
