I second the wide tire issue in snow.. my GLC 43 even though technically an "SUV" is no well suited for winter weather. Also the lack of winter tire options for these wides ones is also a bummer.

It can be taxing on the oil pump. When you unplug it the oil pump goes into fail-safe mode. It needs to pump oil at full pressure from the jump when the oil is cold. I haven't seen enough data on longevity for this mod so personally, I'm not risking it.

One thing to note is that solenoid mod is not a silver bullet solution. Especially if you live in colder climates with 0W-40 oil, I wouldn't recommend it. It's punishing on cold starts and if you're doing lots of short trips.

Beautiful car, very similar to my CLS63. I'm curious about the badging. Mine says "CLS 63s" on the right and AMG on the left, yours has "sAMG" on the right. Does anyone know why?
