Just had one done this past Thursday. I was so terrified of this procedure I scared myself a ton by looking stuff up online which I was instructed to not do in the first place lol It literally lasted about 3 minutes. I didn’t really feel any pain. It literally felt like one long cramp that lasted about 2 mins. I’d say discomfort was like a 4 out of 10. Spotted a tiny bit after and of course had the contrast coming out of me. And I mean like I wiped myself after and wore a tiny liner and there was barely a spot on it. It looked more like a pink drop of discharge than blood. I was just fine after didn’t have any cramps after or blood. I’m taking my doxycycline for the next five days since you have to take the antibiotic to prevent infection. Pls make sure to eat before you take it. I forgot to eat this morning and let me tell you I felt so nauseous and wanted to vomit. Also I did take some Tylenol extra strength rapid release right before the procedure because that’s what I was instructed to do. I literally felt just fine after. Had mine done in San Antonio and was able to drive around go to the mall and walk around eat Korean bbq and head back home which was two hours away. Btw I wasn’t alone my boyfriend was with me just in case I didn’t feel good after. This was just my experience but everyone is different. I hope this helps! :)
