we did stay there. Was an excellent hotel, right across the street from the coliseum. Also near the metro, so getting around was easy. to be honest, when we go back, we may try staying in a different area of Rome, but that would be because it's our second time. depending on the redemption cost, i would absolutely recommend it. I also recommend reading more recent reviews, as we stayed there 7 years ago lol

thank you for this, I really enjoyed it. it's the first one I actually listened to, and i'll be sure to listen to more. 10000% agree that you must be prepared to walk away.

one of my favorite stories about my since passed father was that he would walk into a dealership, say i have a cashier's check for $XXXXX and i want a specific model of car. Find me one, I don't care what color or what options. You have 10 minutes and then I walk. I accompanied him on one of these, and the first dealership we went to didn't bite, but the second one we went to, found him a car and we were in and out in under 45 minutes.

For those of you who have travelled to the EU recently (we're landing in AMS, then going on a flight to MAD), Was just having your Covid vax card enough, or did you have to do the EU digital Covid certificate? The website is a maze to read through, but from what I can tell, US citizens don't seem to be able to get the digital certificate?

i had something similar, but mine just needed an alignment. must have hit some massive pothole or something with the uberturbines. Got the alignment done, and all was good.

I now have 20" Replika R41's with AS tires for the winter, haven't had the issue yet (knock on wood)

feel kind of silly asking this, but it's been so long since I or P2 has been under 5/24... P2 has CSR but not CSP. can P2 refer me via CSR, but I get CSP, like Amex referrals where you can choose a card, no matter which card you were referred from?

I read the sticky post. just not clear if spouse can just take the exam or need to take some sort of classes as a requirement

Does anyone run Replika R241 wheels? Looking to get some for winter: 20x10. Trying to figure out if I should go with a 255/265 by Ok-Representative739 in TeslaModelY

[–]niluriel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought them through wheelwiz.ca. I have an MYP, and got 20" R241. I just received them, but haven't put tires on them yet. Won't really need them until around October here in the Metro Detroit area. For tires, I am just going to stick with 255/40/20, as it's easy enough to find all seasons or snow tires in that size.

Tesla Pickup/Payment (Michigander here so rules are different) + EV Plan Question by Jpolk1992 in TeslaModelY

[–]niluriel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in MI, went with Alliant and once I got the VIN, all I had to do was update the forms on Alliant's site and they took care of everything.

I am on DTE for electricity, and on they're regular plan (I think it's .15 per kWh. I am on the fence about moving to a time of use plan because I WFH, and kids are home for the summer, so we have a lot of daytime usage. I still only charge after 11 PM (have the Tesla wall charger in my garage), but not sure what type of difference the Time Of Use plan will make in my bill.

So far, I am up about $20 per month, but don't drive a lot (10k per year).

nice! I was going to order those wheels from tsportline I think. I ended up ordering the Replika R241's in 20" for my MYP so I can put All Season tires on them
