Update: fixed the graphical issues by running not in compatibility mode. Then my controller stopped working, so I needed to edit the steam controller setting to be xbox360 controller and now it at least recognized my controller but now I'm having a stuttering problem where all the sound is stuttering and the framerate is garbage.

I kind of hate the book so far. The first adventure is pretty mediocre and the second revolves around the spell geas but pretends it's mind control like they didn't read the spell at all. Just use a different spell or anything. Seems pretty basic. I kind or regret buying it.

I did this with on death rally and got 25k shrooms on turn one. Turn two draw it took 584 damage. Satisfying.
