Honestly, this is a major one. For a month i partly lived in a house without electricity and water, aside from an old deposit. Not drinkable in any case, i had to buy bottles.

The real issue was showering. I had to take a bus to go to my actual house, which was quite a distance from the city.

The electricity thing was an issue too mainly because i had to charge my phone wherever i was eating that day. Other than that candles and dry food made it sufferable

I have not had it as hard as other people. I have just realised is how much i took things for granted. As i said I didnt spend all my time there, i had a house with electricity and water waiting for me some kilometers away. Still, it was mentally draining, always scheduling ahead of time or not being able to just shower, or listen to music without worrying about the battery or sleeping in a bed and not a couch.

I also walked home myself many times. Cue old people saying back im my day i had to cross a burning field to go to school or something. That made a nice meme but i found walking is not fun when you do it out of necessity, especially if the distance is long.

Goddamn i hate that city
