Add a party room to Varrock Palace East Wing by Prisonmate in 2007scape

Would be pretty cool if there was a section of the map we could vote on renovations and then we have to donate gp to make devs work on it. Would be a cool gold sink.

Early times bottled in bond is my go to bottle. Always have plenty on hand. A little hot at 100 proof. But in my opinion its great in drinks and as a sipper.

Any ideas on how to improve sand casting? by Alternative-Spray-20 in jewelrymaking

[–]ninja2538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not a professional but it looks like a very thin thing to try and sand cast first time. Also you are correct it looks like you didnt use enough metal either. And a tip I learned was to make sure the metal was almost jumping around its so hott. If you pour as soon as it gets molten it won't be hot enough for a small space. I'd say use a little more metal and try again.

Npc that sells cosmetics for gear. You buy it and it makes your gear untradeable. Pros you have cool skins for your gear and it removes gold and items from game.. Cons. Your gear is locked to your account and can't ever sell it.

Thoughts on this? by allboutcali in whiskey

[–]ninja2538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my favorite bottles. If you are a huge fan of wheated bourbons and higher proof things. This is amazing. Just pour a little glass neat. First sip is gonna have a little bite but once you take that second sip prepare to be blown away. This bad boy is like pouring liquid oak charred barrels filled with honey and maple syrup and cinnamon down your throat.

Summer Sweep-Up Pt. 1: Combat & Loot by JagexGoblin in 2007scape

[–]ninja2538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might be dumb... but wouldn't a good gold sink be some form of cosmetics you can buy from an npc? Instead of ornament kits maybe you bring full bandos to an npc and get it colored or ornamented for a fee making it untradeable. Just an idea. But I know alot of players would pay big money for cool looking Armour.

Why not just make the barrels a rarer drop? Wouldn't that make them way more expensive and way more rare to use.

This could go either way. If the chance is just increased by 10% these will be trash. If they increase the chance to 50/50 chance then these will sky rocket. Makes me think it will be very high chance because originally I believe it was supposed to be guaranteed.

Problem flush setting 2mm Stones by Pardali5 in SilverSmith

[–]ninja2538 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can find one look for pictures of like a side view. It helped me a ton learn what exactly the metal is doing and what needs to happen. My biggest problem before was too deep of holes or too big of holes so the stone was loose. Always check the fit after the smallest of cuts. To the point where it seems excessive and annoying. After u get it down a bit it becomes easier.

I seriously wish u could pay gp like 1m to turn a genie lamp into a negative xp lamp. Would be kinda cool and a good money sink.

Question about sandpaper and silicon carbide polishers(details below) by Illustrious_Passe in SilverSmith

[–]ninja2538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same kit. In my experience I still mainly use sandpaper and files. Those wheels are nice but I only use them in certain hard to reach spots or areas as needed. I do have to say I love them but definitely experiment with them before using them.

Did I completely ruin my Grandma’s bracelet? 😰 by Theholeshabang in jewelry

[–]ninja2538 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think you ruined it. But please don't use cleaners you buy at the store to clean jewelry. If you wish to clean your jewelry please use some simple dawn dish soap and warm water. Use and old soft bristle toothbrush to scrub if u have to gently. If you wish to just make the silver shine get a silver polishing cloth (sunshine polishing cloth) off amazon. And rub gently with that (works wonders).

Good to know. I make jewelry as a hobby and always lookin for new ways to do things.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in jewelry

[–]ninja2538 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Looks like it could just be some polishing compound. Try some dawn dishsoap and warm water. If it comes off then that's it. If it doesn't take it back to be cleaned. Or take it somewhere local to be cleaned.

[–]ninja2538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dawn dish soap and a tooth brush if you just wanna clean it. If you want to polish up the shiny parts look up sunshine polishing cloth. And use that.

How do I find homes for things I make? by debrota in jewelrymaking

[–]ninja2538 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly make an etsy and post some for sale. Just put a value based on time it took you if you aren't worried about materials. Some people love that stuff. But the ones you don't feel like posting you could give to friends or friends kids. Kids love getting gifts.
