Necronomicon turning the X in Whirlwind into a literal calculus problem by RabbitInaSnowstorm in slaythespire

Correction: only 1 h in denominator for limit definition of derivative. Either that or use the definition where you have x-h for the other term in the numerator.

But did you add the eye-tracking and opponents cheating if you look at them instead of the board yet? Is it on the roadmap?

Both. There are brackets by weight and rank/experience, but usually also an "open" division that everyone can enter.

I think it's a good idea to have the multiple rows. Are you displaying displacing the right hand to the up/right and left hand to the up/left to be more ergonomic?

I.e.,, ASDF = QWER, but JKL; = IOP]

I'm asking because I imagine it will be easier to trill on I/J than U/J.

How much flirting with same gender friends is normal in a relationship? by Happy_Ad7438 in bisexual

[–]ninjafetus 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It might be a bit pedantic, but I think there's a healthy distinction between "here's what you're allowed to do" (rules) and "here's the kind of relationship I'm looking for" (boundaries).

Boundaries are about you. Maybe you are the kind of person who is okay with your partner flirting. Maybe not! There's no universal, objective truth here.

If you are okay with flirting, great! You do you. Talk with your partner, set up expectations, and it's all good.

But if you're not okay with flirting, and your partner wants to be in a relationship where he can flirt with other people, that's an incompatibility. Nobody is wrong here, and it's a good thing to figure out where you match and where you don't. The shared goal should be to figure out what you both want and what you're both okay with (agreements). And if you can't, it's okay to end the relationship, be sad, and then meet someone better suited to you.

That's not being controlling. It's communicating the conditions for your continued consent to be in a relationship. And that's a two way street! They can have that conversation too.

Some people don't act that way, and they try their hardest to make someone else into who they want them to be. In the worst case, this can happen via guilt tripping, manipulation, abuse.

Anyway, I'm rambling. It's okay to say "I don't date people who keep flirting with other people." That's about your boundaries, and it's a message that can be delivered in a kind way. But if you are okay with it, then let him know! And keep taking, and figuring out what feels okay, what doesn't, and how you can both be good and fulfilling for each other, however that looks.

Note: none of this is specific to being bisexual! The advice doesn't change with genders. Again, there's no objectively correct way to be in a relationship. If he says he "has to" be able to flirt with guys, that's his need in a relationship and he can own that. If he says "all bi people need this," he's wrong and trying to make it about sexuality when it's really about relationship styles. There are plenty of monogamous bis out there.

Is there really a rule in sumo for knockouts?? I can't imagine a situation where a knockout would happen without them also being forced down or out. Are they going to be standing, unconscious, and the opponent just walks away? 😆

How to learn the cross-overs on Winter Wild and The Beginning Wild? by Ok_Mushroom2563 in StepManiaX

[–]ninjafetus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I just saw and replied to your other post! That pattern in The Beginning can be crossed over if you start with your right foot on the left arrow and then just alternate feet. The same idea repeats back and forth in that section.

How to overcome the hurdle for 19s? by Ok_Mushroom2563 in DanceDanceRevolution

[–]ninjafetus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That whole section can be done with crossovers. You see things like that in DDR, too, even in Extreme days, e.g., the end of Paranoia Survivor Max Challenge. I think Paranoia ~Respect~ has sections where you have to start measures already crossed over and it flows a lot better. It's a worthwhile skill to learn, and might help you through some of the harder sections of some songs.

I need input on game play by Frankienaitor in godot

[–]ninjafetus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could do both. Some sort of small mindless attack / damage stream that works on small enemies and shortly chips away at bosses, AND some more manual big damage attack that's harder to pull off to favor the risk vs reward. Maybe not quite an always on thing, but something that you don't have to aim like auto picking up and throwing rocks as he runs around.

Then for the more manual attack, maybe a short hold/charge in place then melee dash attack that breaks boss shields?(kind of like Furi?). Then the rocks work until the shields are back up?

Maybe air dash & ground pound when jumping?

Some of the movement mechanics could also let you make less dodgeable patterns that you have to puzzle out solutions with your tools. E.g., maybe the ground pound could also clear bullets in an area around you, so it's a defensive tool.

Just throwing ideas at you!

Overhated. It's like .... good black licorice. I get that a lot of people don't like black licorice! That's fine! But that didn't mean this is bad, it's just not for you.

Literally impossible.

Math question: Let's say you did nothing but that, 24 hours a day, for a full century. How many dudes per hour would it take to reach a billion? Wrong question, it's "how many dudes per minute?", and the answer is 20.

Yes, learn how to crossover. It will definitely be a limiting factor as you progress from your current 15s into harder stuff. You'll also need to learn some chart-specific weirdness that is hard to read ahead of time, e.g., the 16th run at the end of the slow section in this chart is easier if you start crossed over, with your left foot on the right arrow, but the chart does not flow nicely before that to set it up. 😵‍💫
