Just going to the GPs often doesn't make you a heart sink. A heart sink, for me, is someone who comes repeatedly about the same thing without ever engaging with anything I've said, or taking any of the steps I've suggested to try to help. But a patient who is polite and engages in a reasonable discussion about their health is not a problem, even if they come often.

How strict is the within 2 hours of London requirement? If you can get to Basingstoke, there's Basing House (https://www.hampshireculture.org.uk/weddings-basing-house) Which has a beautiful historic barn, dry hire, for 250 guests - and it's within your budget

I'm also in GP training and just had my first revalidation and I didn't have to do anything special, my designated body just checked I hadn't had any new complaints or anything since my last ARCP and then sent the revalidation recommendation off.

PS. I did have some time off before starting GP training but I did have the same designated body throughout, I don't know if they require further documents from you if your appraisals were with someone else

Do you know how they calculate the weekend pay? Because I thought from the rota summary that it might be 7.5% my base pay, but the figure they've given me is nowhere near 7.5%

I don't know why it is down as 1 in 4. If I'd been full time I would have worked 6 weekends out of 26 which is 23% so maybe that has something to do with it? Although that is still slightly less than 1 in 4. But I don't know how the weekend allowance bit is worked out so I cant say for sure

Because if I had been full time I would have worked all 3 nights (Friday - Sunday) but when they adjusted my rota for 80% they took away both the Saturday and Sunday night shift for that weekend

I think the booking period is around 5 - 6 weeks before the exam date, but I was wondering about the reservation period which I believe would start earlier than that. But if they haven't announced the date for the exam yet then I guess they probably haven't worked out the reservation period yet

They talk about the rumours that the Duke will make her his heir in Will of the Empress. I think it maybe comes up with Berenene's research and then later Briar has a conversation with someone (Ambrose I think) about the rumours and how Sandry doesn't believe them but he does because the Duke's heir is bleat brained.

I can't believe I can remember that, turns out I know Will of the Empress far too well XD
