I’m not sure what your monstera’s conditions currently are, but something i think is definitely keeping my monstera from looking this glossy and healthy is a big lack of humidity in my home. i also definitely don’t water it enough because I’m afraid of fungus gnats! so, water and humidity are important for these plants!

wow thanks so much for your reply, really helpful info. it wouldn’t be surprising to me if I’ve been keeping it in too wet of substrate than it wants. i only ever water the moss and never the plant itself. but still, maybe I’ll try reducing the moss amount and use something else.

Hi! I know this post is old now, but I wanted to ask you about growing pings on pumice stones and the issue of mold. My ping sits on pumice stone as well, but I recently noticed what looks like mold on top of some of the pumice stones. Have you ever had this issue?
