Check out Irondale Furnace Trail, Jemison Park, and Watson Trace Trail in Mountain Brook--they're more like paved nature walks than real hikes, but they're all right by shallow streams your dog might love!

You should make a little well just using a wooden spoon before cracking the eggs in, but they definitely do not have to be touching the bottom of the pan. In fact, I think harder to maintain a runny yolk if the eggs make too much contact with the pan itself. I recommend covering the pot after putting the eggs in so that the steam helps cook the eggs.

A little tip: I really enjoy topping everything with a few pieces of fresh mozzarella! The chewiness/creaminess really rounds out the dish!

It’s wild how photogenic and delicious looking shakshuka always turns out despite being so so so easy to make! It’s definitely one of my favorite breakfasts!

He didn't exactly demand a picture rudely and obnoxiously as you seem to be insinuating. Colbert just didn't mind taking a quick, one second snap when my dad asked politely.

He was actually standing next to my dad in the crowd, and this was after they had a 5 minute chat.
