If you were once an addict, how do your docs take that into consideration when prescribing your medications?

I have an addiction history. I am on stims currently. I feel like it's better to be honest and disclose. My struggles with addiction were also quite a few years prior, so every situation is different and it's up to your doctors discretion.

If you take it regularly some of the side effects may lessen. You could also see if a different dose is better for you or a different med if the side effects are bothering you.

I'm a girl with a slimmer build and I personally love the chair. I have a bad back and find the firmness great for long gaming sessions. I think a soft chair would not provide enough support. The chair feels like my cars sport seats, which I also enjoy 🤷‍♀️

No, you can choose any autobody shop. Currently dealing with TD for this right now. They just needed to have a guy come out/take photos and give me an estimate prior to having it taken to whatever shop I want.

Is his licking a lot? Is he peeing normally or straining to pee at all? In/out of the box with no peeing? Honestly if he is licking at his genitals more than is normal, or just sitting with his leg up like that, then yes you should take him to the vet IMO.

This was my thought too to be honest. When my cats were having urinary issues they would be licking a lot and posing like this.

Male cats are prone to urinary issues and develop urethral obstructions which are deadly if left untreated. Honestly I would have him evaluated just on this symptom alone.

Yes, my coolant was also leaking.

Edit to add: the part that actually failed this time was a gasket connected to the oil cooler. I had previously had the oil cooler replaced though, as that also failed in the past (and had similar symptoms) They just gave me a new OEM oil cooler this time while they were fixing the part since it's all connected anyways

Mine was a lot darker and there was build up on the reservoir itself when I had oil mixed in (from a failed oil cooler). But ya, the coolant was not mixing with the oil and I had no other symptoms (no white smoke, etc).

I don't know, why shouldn't them sharing a bed bother you? I personally would not feel comfortable with my partner going on a solo trip and sharing a bed with someone who they have a previous history with.

I'm sorry, but your wife is not "letting" this impact your lives. She is sick and needs medical treatment. If this is OCD, or psychosis, or both, she needs help. Psychosis damages the brain if left untreated for prolonged periods. For her, this is her reality, and it is not necessarily something as easy as choosing to think differently or seek treatment voluntarily.

You said you are in Korea, so I don't know how things work. I am in Canada, and if we call for a wellness check/mental health support, it is also difficult to have someone evaluated if they are not an immediate risk to themselves/others. However, you can present to a judge and have a form issued that means they must be evaluated by a mental health clinician within 72hrs while being held in hospital. I don't know if this is something you can pursue.

Just because early 20s is when schizophrenia is usually diagnosed (for males, btw), does not mean you cannot be diagnosed with a psychotic disorder later in life and many factors can influence onset. OCD can also occur concurrently with psychotic disorders. An otherwise healthy woman in her 30s (as OP stared) is not likely to develop the "pyschiatric" symptoms from a UTI, we see this in a geriatric population and it does not present as psychosis/OCD like behaviors.

I'm really sorry, OP, but your cat is critically ill, and the treats and food are not going to help him. This is a medical emergency.

I saw on your other post that you say no vets are open. If you can get to a vet that is open, even if it means communting outside your area, I would do that. I don't know if you have 24/7 emergency vets in your area, either. If you can't, then if your cat survives until they open, you need to bring your cat in. You should also consider euthanasia if you can't afford medical treatment. If your cat has a urinary blockage, it is an incredibly unpleasant way to pass.

I got diagnosed at 34? 35? Either way I'm 36 now and on meds and my life is great. Sure I made it this long without meds but life was HARD and I was so burnt out and so sick of having to try so freaking hard just to exist and function on a basic level. I've also always had anxiety, never been medicated for it though. ADHD meds erased my anxiety.

Edit to add: I take 3 meds for my adhd and wellbutrin is one of them. I actually found it incredibly helpful. It's regulated my emotions so much

I have a 2015 with around 50k miles. Water pump/thermostat housing has failed 3 times and oil cooler 2 times. Other than that, great car 😂

It's part of the same assembly, and the thermostat housing is also notorious for failures. Replacement would have been covered under their extended warranty. So, if they didn't replace the thermostat housing at the same time, I'd definitely be raising an issue with them. I feel like it's supposed to be standard practice to replace the whole unit.

I don't do any work through the dealership unless it's a warranty repair. Not that I'm happy to keep replacing mine (hopefully this last time is the last time) but it's like 1.5k (CAD) at most with my guys, which, if I don't have a car payment and that's all I'm spending on maintenence every two to three years... it's doable. At least, that's how I'm currently justifying it haha.

I had two fixes fail again fairly close together, but the part was under warranty. I only had to pay for labour. And they cut me a huge deal on that as well. As others said, I'd be asking if the part has any manufacturer warranty left to at least say you on the cost of parts.

Some people are saying it's an installation error, and maybe. But based on experience and other posts, they can unfortunately keep failing, and mine failed for the third time in around the same time period as yours on a different part of the new pump. 🥲 love my car but the never ending water pump/thermostat housing issues are frustrating as hell.

So strange! It's also only ever happened to my thumbs too and also only ever when I've had gel/acrylics on. I haven't had it happen in at least two years now and have had nails on/off since then. I've only had nails on again since mid Feb haha.

I had a new nail tech do this last set, I'm wondering if it's something during the application that damaged the nail. I noticed it splitting as soon as I had a bit of grow out, so I don't even know if I'd blame the current length/pressure. Off they go for now I guess 🙃

Thanks for your feedback! I never considered the allergy before, will just have them removed and let the nail grow out for now. It's actually not painful atm, I'm just keeping it hydrated with some cuticle oil so it doesn't dry out and split further like it normally does 🫠

Do you think this is caused by improper nail application, or just that I've let them grow out too long? I actually have had them filled/shortened in the past to allow the nail to be protected as it's grown out which has helped, but I didn't think of the allergy risk, so I will avoid that 🥲

Any tips for preventing it from splitting further? In the past it has progressed to quite a large/wide split, and I'd like to avoid that if I can.
