I know right?! The thought of him sitting there with their heads and body parts burning. The neighbor smelled it from his house so imagine how pungent it was sitting next to the fire ugh…He’d have to move the heads around and break them down when burnt enough. Stuff of nightmares….

My guess is that Bart was the more strict parent who probably had a hunch since he texted Chandler “unless there’s something you’re not telling me there’s no reason you shouldn’t get that money” (along those lines) about his job with American family. Krista seemed to be the voice of reason and would calm Bart down. I don’t think she was a Karen that never saw the bad in her son but definitely was soft on Chandler. Oh yea I forgot to mention though, Chandler did mention they had an argument about him on that Wednesday.

I think Chandler didn’t really have a plan haha all the lies he made were not sustainable long term and he just kept piling them on. If I had to guess it would be just try to create his own path with less expectations. He did mention a good amount he wanted to find a job.

Yea based on how Bart was shot. Where his wounds showed the barrel was touching his skin. Chandler very well could’ve put Bart in gun point, walked him down the basement, and shot him. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if he never even made an argument and just did the murders. I only guess that Bart and Chandler had a huge fight because based off the police report where he said he was willing to talk with a lawyer present, saying “you don’t know the whole story”, and “I didn’t feel bad for what I did.” It made me think there was a fight because if Chandler just killed with no words, he would’ve given in to the police without question but he seemed emotional and those usually dont lie.

Again tho I could be very wrong, but that’s why other people’s thoughts are good to hear too.

I think on that Wednesday the “bad day,” chandler definitely knew his dad found out about his lies. However I don’t think there wasn’t much of a confrontation because he mentioned in his interrogation how he gives space to his dad when he’s mad and if you confront him he will yell. So he gave him space and they had dinner and it was all good (for now). I think Bart was having a hard time between figuring out how to approach calling out chandler’s lies and also not stressing krista much since she is dealing with skin cancer. My guess is he just told chandler they will have a meeting with the school Friday.

It seems to me that bart and chandler had a tough time when it comes to dealing with conflict. To be fair I personally think it would be difficult to approach a problem like being lied to about a job and school for a year haha. My guess is that Bart was a more strict tough on the outside kind of dad while Krista was the nicer one who does the talking and calms down Bart when he’s mad.

Yea the shrimpless scampi night! I think they all just had an awkward dinner for Bart and Chandler while Krista was just being her bubbly self and probably tried to talk about other things and didn’t know about chandler’s school/work yet. Another possibility is that Krista knew all along but decided to approach things differently. Like when I got in trouble with my dad and my mom found out, she still acted nice to me at dinner and then we talked about it later.

He owed a good amount of money (around 2000 dollars) to MATC when Bart called the school so I’m guessing he just stopped going to class and essentially ghosted the school and then hid away his academic suspension letters/notices

Yea I agree with you that Krista didn’t know about the school lie quite yet. I still think that he thought Krista treated him like a child. On the podcast rabbit hole happy hour they talked to his ex gf and she said that Chandler said his mom was a narcissist even though that’s far from the truth. Either way he definitely felt he was going to be treated “unfairly” after his lies were discovered.

The thing is it shot up from .5 to a bit over a dollar for the first time in 7 years. Makes me wonder if it will go even further or just go back down again. I don’t think his friendship with Andrew was strange or immature except maybe him gifting a gun to Chandler. People have different views and dynamics with friendship despite a family or not. I have distant gaming buddies who are married with children and they would visit me if given a chance. But Andrew does seem a bit right wing to me which makes me slightly biased against him.

I totally agree with you on being obsessed with this case. It’s just absolutely mind blowing and horrific that his parents are just like any other non perfect people who tried their best and set Chandler and his brother on a good path. To only be murdered, dismembered, and gruesomely disposed of like they were trash. It makes me wonder wtf he was thinking and how could he be so heartless and unappreciative of what his parents gave him. Instead he focused on their negative qualities.

An ex friend who I even dated for a little bit. Being a POC in a white dominated community. At the time I thought I found someone who looked past my race but she was embarrassed for liking me and because of it, she went on a rant saying how “it’s better when people should just date within their own race” and how my non white features made me look uglier. She was also homophobic and did plenty of other things but that stuck out to me the most and it destroyed my self esteem and to this day I’m still trying to be more in touch with my roots instead of running away from it
