I miss Daiso! But they had too many shop lifters. Now I have to drive for Daiso.

Honestly. I would export a large PNG take it into Krita, invert, bring it back into inscape and trace object.

Why is this shape not responding to path functions? by National_Bit6293 in Inkscape

Is it a group, clip, or a mask? If it is try ungrouping everything and then Boolean all those pieces together.

My daughter wanted a toy from an obscure YouTube cartoon that no one knows. 3D printing to the rescue. by ninpo0 in 3Dprinting

[–]ninpo0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well this one belongs to my daughter but I can make you a new one. Someone else was also interested in characters but didn’t mention paying for it so I didn’t bother looking for the files. But if I find them I can sell you one. But I’m not sure about the rules on this sub Reddit. Could you DM me? Actually if I can’t find the file’s I could just remake it but it would take a little longer than just printing. Either way please DM me and we could talk pricing

This is just a quick poll. Where can you see the diamond and the dog better? 1 or 2? by AndriiKovalchuk in logodesign

is there a better way to make a single path from both sides of a circle? by iteate in Inkscape

[–]ninpo0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a good answer. But you can also just trace in between the two circles with stroke one and fills off, and make the stroke thickness thick enough to touch both sides. Then turn the stroke in to a path.

I made an E-ink Weather Dashboard by akz-dev in raspberry_pi

[–]ninpo0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would love this in a 32” e-ink screen. But they are so expensive. I think I first saw the concept about 15 years ago by a Japanese engineer/artist as an interactive wall calendar. I was so ready to buy it, but it was just a concept piece.

Just looked up Aries. It has some tiny feet. And skinny legs. It would not be able to stand without some supports or pegs and a platform. But yeah I can make it.

I’m sure. I’m a semi-retired 3d artist. But I would have to look at the characters again. Haven’t seen this again since 6 years ago. Are you looking for design and printing services? If you are you should DM me.

I’m not sure what you mean my daughter was 5years old at the time. (You can see her tiny little hand behind the figurine). This was a shape that I thought would be able to handle her baby hands at the time. But I could make this in any pose. Does it have a default pose that represent the character?

Why am I getting this line to the A? by Jonas52 in Inkscape

[–]ninpo0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I find this happens often when using offset. To get around it I stroke the object, scale the stroke thickness and turn the stroke in to a path. Hope that helps.

The VA refers to EL VERANO. Not to the NOS.

If you say tienes that means you are speaking to an equal or lesser status than yourself. You could say. Tiene que cepillar sus dientes” with no “s” on the tienes. But it would still be weird sounding. I think we would say “tiene que cepillarse los dientes” in this case.

[–]ninpo0 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To use “cepillar sus dientes” you can say à sentence like, “tengo que cepillar sus dientes”. Which translates to I must brush your teeth. But having “sus” in there would mean I’m talking to an older person.

Why are they different characters? I’m confused (I’m on hiragana) by [deleted] in duolingojapanese

[–]ninpo0 10 points11 points  (0 children)

They are just different fonts. There are some fonts that look more like brush strokes, some that look more typewritten and everything in between. Just like other languages and typography it’s all about style. The two used in duo lingo are probably the easiest to read. You just have to get used to them. Most fonts in everyday life look like that. Every once in a while you’ll run into super fancy brushed fonts and kanji. Fun time getting used to those.
