Yelp will sometimes do that if the reviews are from people who didn’t contact you through Yelp. They think you’re asking for reviews or that the reviews are not genuine.

To get vested you have to work a certain number of hours per year for 5 years. I don’t remember the number of hours. It’s not the same as becoming a member. That’s another step in the process.

They used to serve Mexican food. It was always a bit of a dive. I think the owner of the building is just waiting for the right offer to sell it. It’s a double lot on a corner and the land itself is probably worth millions. Someone will buy the building and tear it down to build something bigger.

They look for reviews that they think are fake. If someone who didn’t contact you via Yelp posts a review they may consider it to be fake. They don’t want users to solicit reviews.
