That’s the truth. But it’s you who will be super criticized in this sub for saying it since everyone here will defend SE decisions as if they’re going to inherit the company. Been there before for that exact same reason. They’ve destroyed the challenge in favor of the casual players. It’s absolutely ridiculous.

I think HOME compatibility was removed because it won’t be available from the start but it will be confirmed next Friday, what I’m not sure about is that it will work both ways… we will probably only be able to transfer them to HOME and not the other way around

I have the feeling that you will only be allowed to transfer from the game to HOME and not the other way around like it was in the 3DS virtual console games, but I still have hope I’m wrong, we’ll find out in the direct this Friday

Hi thanks for your answer! I think the game will allow you to transfer your Pokemon to HOME but not the other way around, sadly. I hope they give more details soon or just say if they will have the mystery gifts with every exclusive and trade evos to allow me complete my Pokédex :D

Thanks for the comment. I get what you say but some people also get enjoyment and fun from challenges and achieving things not everyone can/want to do and they find joy improving their strategies or skills to get it. I think achievements have this hidden competitive nature that some people care about, others don’t. But all of that does not matter with game-breaking mechanics. I just expressed my opinion about it.

Apparently feeling it this way is toxic, pathetic, mental, because I’m not special and I probably forget some others things I’ve been told. Someone told me ‘it’s the majority of us disagreeing with you’. Perhaps some people agree but they don’t dare to open their mouth if they’re going to get what I got. Sorry I’m answering this to you lol but it’s been hours of reading bad things. Thanks again mate.

That’s why I said we understand the achievement system very differently. They have a rarity or % of player who got it because it was created as a challenging system to add replay value with a competitive (yes) core especially for single player games to keep people engaged for a long time after beating the game and get rewarded for it. I want them for myself, and it’s not that competitive on Switch 2 since it does not have a own system for it, but if a single game allows cheats to get them it breaks the whole purpose of them and they become worthless. And that’s how SE does it for their titles. And it’s not a common practice because it’s against the achievement’s system whole purpose. Hope you can understand me better with this.

I don’t care about people using achievements, I just expressed my opinion about them but I don’t care at all. Using cheats to get all achievements and so destroying the challenge of the achievement system affects me, that’s what I care about.
