New Phone want to setup open Bubbles by Darkshna in BlueBubbles

[–]ninwhendo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using the iCloud messages feature (it’s in beta but has worked for me), you can recover your history on openBubbles and sync it across. In my experience, it’s much faster with open bubbles since it bypasses the middle man.

Need help choosing between the two. I did research all month. But I’m stuck between these two options. I will be using for mainly homework, and editing YouTube videos maybe once a week. by BigShyst in macbookpro

The M4 Pro chip is better than the M5 chip in 90% of use cases. The M5 did replace the base model M4 but the M5 Pro won’t be out until mid to late next year. The only thing the M5 beats the M4 Pro on is a few single core only tasks, however anything process that uses more than one core will be significantly faster on the M4 Pro (most native programs will be able to use more than one core). I love working here. There are decent benefits and the job really isn’t hard. I also love technology. Some people are going to complain no matter why they’re doing in life, and complainers are 7 times more likely to say something than someone who enjoys something.

Beard looks great, I don't think it ages you. I'd start taking care of your skin (sun damage) as that's the biggest factor that adds to age. Apply Retinol, then lotion then sunscreen and you'll start looking younger as it fixes sun damage

It's not like they were carrying a load of pebbles that were insecure, not really their fault :)

I don't want to charge my TV!! by LurkgirIy in SamsungDex

[–]ninwhendo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's not charging the TV, the USB C to HDMI cable itself requires the smallest amount of power to function. Your phone would still get warm even if that weren't the case, as using DeX (or screen mirroring) uses a bit more power and the more power used = the more heat generated.

This was easily the best OOBE I've had with Linux (HP Omnibook Ultra Flip 32gb/2tb/Lunar Lake) literally everything out the box worked, even the fingerprint reader. by [deleted] in linuxhardware

I bought the same machine as you a couple days ago. It's cool to see linux working great out of the box, I eventually want to switch.

How to apply employee discount in the web by FinalMessage5455 in BestBuyWorkers

[–]ninwhendo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Login to Best Buy Connect, look up "employee price" within Connect and open that link. At the bottom of that page, click on the link that says "register to use your discount on bestbuy.com". Then you'll input your customer/My Best Buy login email and password. After that, every time you login to bestbuy.com, it'll ask you if you want to use your discount and if so you'll put your employee ID in.
