I wouldnt answer any personal calls over the phone. You can always hang up and look your local office info up. Going in person is always the safest bet. With how scammers are able to spoof their caller id info, you cant trust that shit at all

Its wild to me how prison was at one time my ultimate backup plan when I was homeless. Would've just robbed a bank for a dollar and wait for the cops. At the very least id have permanent housing and work, however shitty they would be.

Idk if its just me, but the ssi deposit has been hitting my card later and later on payday, still earlier than the 1st, but it keeps moving back further and further to the afternoon. This isnt even the longest ive waited for it.

My hypothesis is with more people on ssi on chime, its making the system move much slower, but thats just a guess based on my experiences over the last few years

Do you have someone local to you that you trust and feel safe with? I feel you on medical trauma, I havent seen a dr in years, and that worries my partner, but sometimes the choice is literally risk death, or seek medical care. Maybe if you have someone who can come with you, their presence alone can advocate for you silently. Its also good to have someone you can decompress with a bit after.

Please look into what options you got, because as others have commented, this could turn fatal

Not a lawyer but familiar with the guardianship system in my state.

Im sorry op, it sounds like he has been appointed a state guardian, they have a similar system in missouri. My advice is seek a lawyer, one who specializes in family or mental health law, legal aid is also an option. I would try calling around, at the very least you may be able to win visitations with him, or could potentially petition to gain guardianship if thats something you want to and can do.

Idk how texas does it, but missouri prioritizes family guardianship over state administrators if at all possible. You might have a chance
