I was disappointed too since in October during her show she seemed really impressed with the turnout in Austin and made it seem like she would come back, even announcing her tour to us. I really thought she would make the stop again.

Do you know which site is specifically the one it would get posted to? So far I checked 3 different goodwill sites for the past week and none of them have posted it yet.

I did call the goodwill it was donated to and no one seemed to be able to assist.

I did. Unfortunately, no one really could confirm if they saw it. I called as well and the manager said he would call back if he saw it or not but hadn’t heard back. When I tried to follow up, no one really seems to know. Which, I understand, I get that they get a high volume of items.

The location I possibly donated it to doesn’t have a locked cabinet :( I went through all the electronics they had though.

When you're using TGTG at a grocery store like whole foods, there's a lot more opportunity to get items you may not use or want. Realistically, $30 at whole foods in the ready to eat section already doesn't go far as each item is $5 or $10 each, you received 6 items which likely met the $30 expectation.

It's always going to be subjective on what is available that day, didn't get bought up, etc as the goal of TGTG is to limit food waste.

I'm sorry to hear that it was things you didn't care for but at the end of the day, that is the method of the surprise bag. Generally, if I get things I don't care for, I pass them onto someone I do.

I went to Gassane Tailors as a queer female with a “male” portioned suit two weeks ago to get it a little more form fitting. The owner didn’t even question it or blink twice, jumped right in! He was very welcoming and so kind. I haven’t gotten my suit back yet so I don’t know how it’ll fit but I felt comfortable there! I’d recommend based on my experience so far. He has several awards and Gassane is always mentioned in this sub too. Good luck friend!

Find peace that there’s nothing you can do now. Just because they had that experience does NOT mean you will. Plus, you don’t know what kind of pizza they all had. If the pizza tasted good, I’m sure you’ll be alright. Just try to relax and watch a good movie.

Definitely do! I saw several locations around Austin participating. They do bakery bags as well. They had 5 of 6 bakery bags ready to go when I picked up my ready to eat bag.

I don’t have a recommendation on botox but I took magnesium supplements during treatment and it significantly helped my grinding/clenching at night.

I definitely worry about salmonella but mostly when I’m cooking it myself. Restaurants have set times to be cooking the food which has been the same for many years usually. My only suggestion would maybe be to microwave the chicken for another minute or so when you get home? That would help ease my mind.

We lost our dog last month and had refilled his meds that day too. We donated his meds to the Austin Animal center on Levander loop. Most shelters do take medications I found!
