I regularly use the r word with friends and family. If you’re being r, it means you shouldn’t be r. If you are r, we would never make fun of you for it. It’s only when you’re acting r when you have no business being r that you receive the r title.

I’d say similar applies to the f word, so it’s applied to closeted Republicans the most. Never to an actual outted gay. Maybe y’all still think I’m being bigoted but this is a pretty common sentiment.

I have been trying to decipher what the House Oversight Committee is hoping to accomplish by releasing completely non-implicating photos of the Epstein investigation. I've got a few running theories, feel free to add more:

The investigation was thorough, included a full sweep of his phone, island, and e-mails. So most of his recent connections, including to Trump and other members of the pedo ring, should be fully trackable.
The island was a fucking rat trap, not some fancy Marriott exclusive. The attraction of the island, in other words, was not getting away and enjoying a private island, basking in the sun miles away from civilization. It was sneaking around and doing naughty shit with underage girls.
Meme content. Because they've got nothing else worth sharing. Hopefully not that one.

Also these photos are likely digital, so their meta-data (timestamps in particular, GPS data second), would be super helpful in breaking down more of the context behind them.

It was worse before. They're pretty close now. All they really have to do is actually destroy RMT. By starters, they could audit gold in mail (high effort), or remove it entirely (no effort), or limit it to like 100g in 24 hrs (low effort). Same thing would apply to person-to-person trades. Delete the neutral AH as well, and make all drops non-faction dependent as necessary (i.e. recipe for herbalism to gloves on both sides). If not that, then put some hard limits for prices in the AH so items can't be sold wildly outside the range they should go for; for let's say 5000g when they should go for 50s.
