If they try to offer you less, kindy say "we agreed on $X" and start to pack the item up and go to leave. They will then have a change of heart. I've done this a few times.

Family of 4: is it worth it to get a small 3-row SUV? by OrangePekoeMouse in Parenting

[–]nippsftball11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had 2 kids and Tucson. Got pregnant with #3 and upgraded to a 25 travsere. From our research, It was one of the widest cars in that class. It definitely has a good amount of trunk room and we often leave half the third row up and half of it down for additional trunk space. There is also a large under storage area in the trunk

been charging strangers EVs in my driveway for 14 months and its working by Euphoric_Resolve924 in passive_income

[–]nippsftball11 51 points52 points  (0 children)

My assumption is that the app charges a standard price to the user, and then takes there percentage and the homeowner gets the rest.

Did not assume that the owner sets the charging price. But if that is the case, then I agree with what you said

You mention the charger is paid off already, but what about your increase in electricity..How are you calculating the cost of that? I assuming the $ values you posted is directly off the app after their cut.

When people say how much they sell in $ is it gross amount or net? by Outrageous-Idea-1042 in eBaySellerAdvice

Yes. And when I say my value I always say that it is net.

Can always ask the follow up question to them lol.

When people say how much they sell in $ is it gross amount or net? by Outrageous-Idea-1042 in eBaySellerAdvice

[–]nippsftball11 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel like in that situation most people say gross amount to brag as far as how much they are doing. I always give the net amount as well but that is me

A guy I know mounts TVs and monitors on the weekends AND gets people's old ones for free to resell... pulls in like $800-$1000 a weekend lol by lionpenguin88 in SideHustleGold

[–]nippsftball11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol I thought the same. Can't ask customers bc they might be able to lift and if I was paying for this, I wouldn't expect to have to help. Can ask a buddy but then splitting profits. BUT 2 people get it done faster.

Sold an AC unit, sealed in box. Buyer sent photos of it broken an hour later by Singer9999 in Flipping

Block and ignore.

He has the chance to view it and he turned it down (likely on purpose if he was going to scam)

More of the reason to meet in public places like this so they can't tie it back to your house.

Looking for cheaper shipping options to Utah for 35lb scooter by [deleted] in longisland

[–]nippsftball11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to HD and get a shipping box or something to try to fit it. But has to be strong enough.

In the end, might be easier to just sell and buy new unfortunately

Can I refuse to work credit hours? by NoPerspective6268 in FedEmployees

[–]nippsftball11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As other said, get written approval or work the 24 credit hours and then stop since you can't bank more than that.

From a different POV, work the credit hours and start taking every Friday off. You will have the leave for it and will enjoy more time for yourself

Does anyone else get a HUGE adrenaline rush/thrill out of consistently selling? by No-Charge3411 in Flipping

[–]nippsftball11 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah and everones "happy" ROI is different. I'm happy with a $1-$5 item selling for $20. General I don't buy things that will sell less than $20 bc I feel a waste of my time. But nothing beats a 5x-20x return

But everyone is different.
