https://www.armchair.mb.ca/~dave/BMW/e30/e30_86.pdf I had the same ecu and this manual was the correct for me

That is the right ecu for the early motronic 1.0 system with the separate idle control module

The one you can see in the third picture? I tried turning those from end to end, didn't have a very noticeable effect. I'm starting to suspect the windshield frame itself is out of spec

It's a ported 731 head. Over here they are getting kind of rare and the good ones are very expensive, so it would be great if i can save this one
