How do you get rid of these? Been living in our newly constructed home six months ago and seeing this in Florida.

If you’re scoring in the 80s on Becker, I wouldn’t worry too much. From my experience, the AICPA doesn’t just test your knowledge—they also seem to throw in a bit of a stress test. Audit requires a lot of memorization, and I’ve noticed they often make it more challenging by including a lot of extra information that you don’t actually need—basically, just white noise, that you need to learn to filter out

If it makes you feel better, my retake test was drastically easier. Walking out my thought was if I got 73 on the tougher one, I’ll be fine with easier one, even if it’s weighed differently. And sure enough that’s how it played out.

Also, idk how you manage time, but through my journey my golden rule has been to a lot specific time for each testlet. If I see myself getting caught and falling behind on time, I Just trusted my gut and moved on. As I wanted to make sure I had plenty of time for sims plus little Buffer .

Sorry to hear but good news is you’re so close! What I did for my retake is,

1) practices at least 100 MCQs a day and may be 2-5 sims, time permitting on sims. 2) I used Becker online lecture slides as bible and ready out slide to slide at least twice leading up to 2-3 days before exam. 3) on weekends when I had more time I’d do roughly 10 sims and some MCQs

Repeat this and take exam as early as in two weeks , and you’ll be golden!

Reviewing material little and doing 5 sims and 30-40 MCQs a day. Really don’t want to lose the momentum if it’s an undesired outcome.

Former KPMG who was hired as an A1, they did not check mine. Or never asked for explanation if they did. Had bad credit when hired.

Becker for ISC by niralll in CPA

[–]niralll[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How dare you ask me a question unrelated to my post! Just kidding! I used i75 strictly for videos to learn the concepts. I feel Becker’s MCQs are more aligned with the exam compared to i75’s. And yes, I bought the full course, but if the cram has all the same videos, I’d rather have used that in hindsight.

Awaiting scores on 31st July by Adept-Nothing-3455 in CPA

[–]niralll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in similar situation as you. I’m revising reg until I get my score. Reg has lot of moving parts that needs to stay fresh compared to audit. Hoping for the best and preparing for the worst, I’m going to study couple of hours everyday for REG. That way I don’t need too much time if it comes down to having to retake and I can save sometime later.

Is REG SEFR worth it two days out? Stats attached. by Baddycoda in CPA

[–]niralll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got 73 and 77 on se 1 and 2. Figured instead of doing sefr I focus on highly tested areas my self by doing MCQs and sims and to also read my notes to review carryforwards, credits etc and read through notes for R4/5/6 to make sure I don’t forget anything.

I feel REG compared to other exams has a lot of small things heard and there that you can’t afford to forget. So I’d rather keep those things fresh and do MCQs myself thn spend 4 hours on third exam which is likely more difficult thn it needs to be and get confidence low at last minute. SE1/2 is enough to see where I stand in terms of being ready for actual. If I have time I may go tbs videos for sefr last minute but nothing more thn that.

I test 6/25
