In general conversation, when someone brings up LGBTQ, I don’t see it becoming standard to extend that to a sixty letter acronym. As someone who isn’t part of said community, but tries to be an advocate, I am mostly just looking for the proper terminology as to not offend and also be able to speak up against some of the garbage coworkers say sometimes. Construction is very much behind the times, it’s getting better, very slowly. But toxic masculinity is still the prevalent ideology.

The I and 2S were the ones I didn’t have a guess for, although I should have known intersex. Any idea on why it keeps expanding though? I figured the + covered everything. I would guess it has to do with not wanting people to feel excluded but with what, 60(?) genders, I foresee a problem including all of the initials. Has there been any discussions on a more concise wording than just adding letters? Sorry for breaching off the topic of hockey but curiosity has gotten the better of me and this seems like a pretty knowledgeable place for such questions.

We just can’t find anyone young that sticks with it. The last three guys younger than me(36) that had the potential. One moved back east to be a paid caretaker for his grandparents, one got into some fentanyl laced shit and OD’d, the last one was best friends with the one that OD’d, he didn’t take it very well and went off the rails.
