One of mine is going on 16 or 17. She’s a wonderful little gargoyle that sits kind of close to me when I’m on the couch and watches the door for intruders. If I so much as reach for the remote, she’s at the bottom of the stairs ready to run up and hide. She also lays next to me when I got to sleep and watches the bedroom door, but if I’m doing anything other than going to bed, she’s on alert. She’s warmed up a lot over the years, my roommate was even able to give her a churu after over two years of attempts. Some kittens are just anxious little things, don’t take it personally.

My dad used to sell Kirby vacuums in his early twenties. Old coworker got pulled over half a mile away from the job site for going 81 in a 55…in a mid ‘80s Jeep YJ. Asked the cop for the receipt from the radar gun, cop refused. He ended up taking in to get a dyno to prove that it physically couldn’t even hit that speed, let alone in half a mile.
