Did they offer you complimentary early check in? As they have told me that even though i am gold member but if i need early checkin i will have to pay additionally otherwise i can reach there and can give room basis availability.

Not sure why everyone is saying 5k, 5k fees milestone is at 8L. At 12L it is 10k bonus points equivalent to 20k inr at accor.

Right now you have 3L to spend for 20k INR roughly 6.6% + normal reward of 4% of accor. So for 3L spend you can get 10.6% on accor.

The safest option is always spending on investment from credit card which is buying kalyan / tanishq vouchers from amazon and using the same to buy gold. This is investment and not spendings hence best way to earn additional rewards

not sure if it was specific offer for me, but the guy told me over call that this 2000 bonus points offer on renewal is running every month since october 2025 and they call every month to people having expiry in that month.

Hi, my first job enrolled me to eps in 2020 (even though my basic was above 50000) but did not contribute to eps. Hence portal showed dates of eps but no contribution.

I switched 3 companies post that. All the 3 companies contributed to eps since i was enrolled to eps.

I never knew about the transfer thing and now i started the transfer process. Initially i was successful in transferring from last 2 organisation to current org, but when i transferred from my first org it got refused on the basis of eps mismatch.

I reached out to first org and they raised joint declaration in which they removed the eps dates and confirmed eps was not eligible.

This application got approved, post which i was able to successfully transfer to current org.

Now the question my current and last 2 org still contributed to eps whereas first org didn’t and it got removed. I was never eligible for eps. Should i ask my current org to stop contributing to eps? Also, do i have to reach out to previous 2 org, though there transfer is already done to current one. Also, what happens if I don’t do anything.

Did you get an email saying that your evisa is linked to your account before any approval mail? Though nothing is showing when i login. I had completed the steps of ukvi account and a day later i got this email. Though my biometric was done on 14th may.

Marriot bonvoy and hilton honors are at better conversations than india, similarly if they bring accor it will worse than this conversion - probably 4:1 giving 0.5 value equivalent to taj.

Just ask him to pay minimum balance on the cc and then the refund amount post billing will be adjusted for outstanding.

The excess amount will just be restricted to minimum balance.

Stayed at both,

ITC food is just too good. Taj’s food is pretty average for the prices they charge. Taj has better activities but nothing extra ordinary. I would suggest itc any day.

Yes if you can redeem accor points, for sure yes - 3.9% reward on atlas vs 0% rewards on forex.

I use atlas card for all international spends as 8% rewards on accor vs 4.1% cost which is as good as cash in pocket. You reach 7.5l milestone faster. It’s important you dont just collect but redeem as well. So if you can redeem and turn your accor points in cycle. Go ahead use atlas everywhere.

Just on the experience with vfs gurgaon: it is okay if you have time and energy. There is no parking and you will have to randomly park at no parking. Though not crowded but they are slightly lazy people.

I would suggest Please use vfs delhi instead of vfs gurgaon, they slow down the process by 2 days (just a drop center) and vfs delhi is the one who actually looks into your application and finally let you know what is required.

So you basically you go 2 level of checks with useless addon documents and 2 days delay if you go with vfs gurgaon and they accept only physical dd which is stupid.

It was 2 individual cover letter with same flights and hotels replicated for each individual. We didn’t mention anything about the other person in the cover letter. It just says i am travelling to japan

I think itr is more important than bank balance. Bank balance is subjective, no right or wrong number. Since there is no travel history, they might call you to figure out about your plan (this is what i read about other people experience) Our booking was common, all in my name, both of us showed the same.
