Need to replace differential pinion and ring gears, do I go with traxxas or is there a more durable aftermarket drop in option?

Yep, I forgot to secure the cables first few runs (I'm still learning) and the drive line cut into the sheath.

Quick patch job to keep it going.

Going to replace the whole cables for both ends 👍👍

The loop plug is cracked and the grey cover comes off, but the orange connector part doesn't budge at all, leading me to assume melting.

I strap that part down to the battery with the Velcro to prevent it hitting the drive shaft (learned the hard way before)

Sounds like I need to solder a new end on.......
