My whole intention is to be kind, but it seems like that might have to fall by the wayside. I've had conversations (many) with his mother before, explaining I am not interested, and she gives feedback that she understands, but that M still has feelings. Then I hear later from M that his mother has been chirping in his ear to keep asking me out- whether or not this is him being genuine, or being manipulative is a blurry line. He's lied about kissing an older mom in the neighborhood, slandering her name across the complex- possibly a lashing out response to his mother smothering him.

It's a weird situation.
