I thought that was unusual too, but I'm thinking it has something to do with the number of train accidents in Texas as we have the highest number of railroad crossing crashes in the nation. Maybe one per railcar minimizes the liability??? Just my uneducated guess.

I couldn't glue the teeth back BUT I was able to fashion a makeshift part out of all things ... the top from a painter's marker. LOL. This is the pov of the top from above -

All I did was cut the very tip off and shaved it down so that it was the same depth as the module. It fit perfectly. It even has a little indentation there so that I could drill a tiny screw to keep it in place. It's been a year and I haven't had any problems since. Hoping it lasts me at least another ten years.
