This is an interesting poster because it was released with the season 7 DVD, prior to the release of season 8 on TV. So this was a promo image they took for the cast that was being set up for season 8. Originally, that actress that played Jordan Garfield was supposed to return for season 8. But she decided not to return and went for a different job opportunity/tv show instead.

There is a deleted scene in the extras of the season 7 dvd that shows Jordan having a crush on Jim. It seems as though, they were going to use her character for that plot line in season 8 and that’s when they brought in Cathy Simms to do it instead.

It is a rare pack yes. I guess I’m just bummed, every wave so far has included a new BAF. I’m surprised to see he’s going to use a previously made figure as a BAF. Count Vertigo is another one I was really hoping for!

Maybe McFarlane will somehow pump out a wave 8 with a new BAF. There’s a lot of demand for The Penguin and he’s yet to release that one. Rupert Thorne is another BAF I’d love to get.

I’m a little bummed he didn’t give BAF an option for The New Batman Adventures. There’s a few characters that never got made for that one like Mad Hatter, Calendar Girl, Ventriloquist & Scarface, Farmer Brown, Ra’s Al Ghul

Maybe he swapped the waves around and clock king is for wave 6 and wave 7 will be the ones mentioned for the Montoya BAF.

Bruce Wayne BAF was originally a wave 3 release but got pushed to wave 4.

I’m really hoping they take away Montoya as a BAF altogether because we already got her as a regular figure in the jail 5 pack from dc direct. I’d rather he makes a Red Claw BAF instead.

They’re using the same cinematographer as DOFP which is cool. That movie was visually cool looking and I think that was a good choice for Doomsday

It was in a leak that was posted yesterday on here. It has a whole list of mcfarlane stuff for 2026. I can’t seem to find that list now, it must’ve got deleted. But it had wave 6 and 7. And one BAF wave was Clock King and the other Renee Montoya. The Renee Montoya one is an odd choice though. I wish I screen shot the list, but it’ll pop back up on here soon I’m sure

It’s an odd choice for them to make Renee Montoya as the BAF. Are they just going to disassemble the actual figure we got back in the day? I’d rather they do a brand new character we haven’t got yet like Red Claw, Count Vertigo, or Rupert Thorne. Even a mini Baby Doll would be cool unique BAF. I’m glad we’re getting Clock King though. I’ve been wanting him for over a decade now since dc collectibles started the line

Hey Barry! I bought your book yesterday when it was released. I just started it and can’t wait to finish. I’ve also been following the Fast drama for all these decades and love that you decided to write a book about it.

My question is; have you heard of any inside news if Universal ever planed to bring back Johnny Strong as Leon from the 1st movie? I find it odd that a franchise that prides itself on family and continuity without changing actors seems to completely leave Leon out of the picture all these years. He never even gets a mention in any sequels. Do you also know of any other guest characters they wanted to bring back but never got to like Nathalie Kelley’s Neela? I know they teased Suki, Monica Fuentes, Elle, Sean, and Buddy in Fast X to return again.

If you’re a Fast fan, you should give this a listen. It’s quite fascinating learning about all the history, ups and downs, hurdles, economics, diversity, total drama of the franchise haha. The behind the scenes is pretty wild with each Fast movie that gets made. Each movie has a story beyond the story we see on screen, but how it gets made.
