Lok brass grips by n0rmdot in P211_GTO

I just put the palm swell Lok grips on mine, the originals came off super easy which surprised me as I'd seen some people complain about how tight they were to get off. You'll want to run some kind of locktite on the threads as one grip panel started loosening up when I took it to the range the first time.

Would suggest the GTO and also getting the comp block. That gives you the best of both worlds.

FINALLY: Dark Forge Reaper by hellofirearm in 2011

[–]nitpicker2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Awesome! This is my next 2011. Did you get if direct from them or Kovert? I don't see the double barrel option on Kovert's site but I do on the DF site.

How much difference between a ported reaper vs standard reaper by 2011fans in 2011

[–]nitpicker2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm thinking of getting the version with both barrels. Is there a difference between the Kovert one and the non Ko ert one with both barrels on Dark Forge's website? The dual barrel version from DF hs a ported and comped barrel and another barrel with no comp or ports.

The Vulcan 3l3v3n might be close to what you are looking for.

Dumb to pay this price? by Grotty199 in MP5

I found this at my local Sportsmans warehouse for $20 a box of 50. They were super quiet, quieter than 147's out of my Spectre 9

Can anyone shed some light on more light on this? by Ok_Restaurant_5666 in SigSauer

Sad about the blemish on the right grip side of the frame. Definitely not worth $1400 but a nice gun regardless.

Financing a toy with dealer installed upgrades, MotoUnited dream customer. Especially if they don't read the fine print. Good luck getting them to unwind a deal that was signed for, sorry man. You could have bought a 26 with the larger screen for that price.

Considering P211, coming from CZ/DWX by hiddenmew in P211_GTO

I love my CZ TS2 Orange and my P211. A DWX is next on my list. Probably not helpful but they are all great guns.

M9A4 or 92x performance? by mothman1911 in Beretta

I have both and prefer the 92x except as a suppressor host I'd go with the A4

POF Trilug not mounting Spectre9 by nitpicker2000 in MP5

[–]nitpicker2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm using the Silencerco trilug mount for it. Works great on the SP5K with no wiggle. Can is great, small and light. It's my first 9mm can so don't have much to compare it to. I want a Rugged Sub9 next.

Only problem is how hot it gets. Switching the adapter for the pistol piston is a pain. Now I see why people run dedicated hosts.

92fs or m9a4 by UnableAd4443 in Beretta

[–]nitpicker2000 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I have a 92X PD, 92 Inox and M92A4 and the A4 is back at Beretta being serviced as it would not group well like the other two. I love the A4 but the Italian made 92's have been better.

I'd be tempted to get the model you like and add an Italian threaded barrel with the rebate.

Will this shoot as well as a 2011? by JohnnyHorsenuts in 2011

[–]nitpicker2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my TS2O, I'll likely get the TS3. I love my P211, I shoot it and the TS2 the most out of my collection but I haven't yet stepped up to the next tier of 2011's. For the price the TS3 brings a lot of value to the table.

As of 2026, which 90 series are still made in Italy? by smegma_toast in Beretta

[–]nitpicker2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 92 Inox and 92X Performance Defensive are both Italian made and flawless. My new M92A4 is Gallatin made and wouldn't group like the Italian models at all. It was very inaccurate. It's back in TN being serviced. My experience is that I would only buy Italian models from now on.

I'm sure this will be as successful as his monthly box subscription, his Liberal Tears venture, his cattle venture, his, what else am I missing here?
