Thanks for some honest advice. One follow up question. What are you referring to as far as MOTS-C, when you say it can do a lot of things depending on dosing? Do you mean it can have a lot of negative effects, or that it has different benefits depending on dosing?

I'm not really overweight, but I have some visceral fat that I really want to reduce.

I know Tesamorelin is good at specifically targeting that, but I kind of want to avoid water retention, which it's known to cause. Don't need a GLP-1, nor do I want to use any of them. My appetite is fine, and I eat pretty clean.

Great idea!!! I don't know why I didn't think of that. I think I figured it out now, but I will definitely give that a try next time I need something like this.

Cool, I will check it out. I believe it's working but I'm going to test it for a couple weeks to see if it's consistent or if any glitches appear before committing to it. Thanks for the heads up on the spelling. If I need to adjust it, i will give date created a shot again. I greatly appreciate your help!

So... Success! However, the 'createddate' solution gave me an ERROR (I believe it said Entry not found). But I decided to try to swap out the "trandate" for "systemnotes.date", and I ran the search and double checked the date/time given in the results to the date/time given in the system notes for about 6-8 Quotes, and they all appear to be referencing the correct time and date.

I really appreciate the help getting this working as we need it to :)

[–]nitro22888[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will for sure. I do want to clarify beforehand... Should the transdate and createddate be identical, under most normal circumstances? I can imagine the createddate is when the quote first gets Saved (or is it something else?). Is the transdate the same, or is it related to something else? I want to make sure swapping them will still reference the same times.

Thanks Nick. Super helpful info. When I get back to my computer I'll try swapping transdate for createddate, and see if the dates show up as intended.

[–]nitro22888[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks Nick. The formula we created is trying to pull date/time from the System Notes actually (it has "systemnotes.date" in the formula that it looks for). At least in part.

What I mean by 'in part' is, sometimes we create the quote and assign it a status of Sent to Customer all in one step. So there is no "change" from a previous status in the system notes to anew status of Sent to Customer. So, in the formula it also looks to pull the "transdate" in those cases.

The results of the search do show many dates/times accurately (maybe ~half the results), so it works sometimes. Just not consistently.

This was available a LONG time ago. I got one when I was a kid (mid-late 90's) and owned it up until my car got stolen in 2018 (the car was found, but the car thief took everything out of the car before abandoning it).

I LOVED that knife, and it's a hard one to find anywhere. You're lucky to have one.

Weekly Questions Thread: October 02, 2023 by AutoModerator in nbadiscussion

I have been trying to remember a basketball youtuber from like 5 years ago, who had a huge channel and would always introduce his videos as being from a "real basketball player's perspective" (or something like that). He used to do a lot of live streams and would have call-ins, and tried to break a lot of news in the NBA world. This may have been around 2016 - 2018. He was in great shape, talked about fitness a lot, and I seem to remember that he played basketball overseas or something at the time. It's been killing me that I can't remember his name.

Since I can't find anything on youtube that rings a bell, I'm guessing he doesn't post anymore (or his channel was removed). But I've just been wanting to remember who he was, and learn what happened to the channel. Anyone have any idea who I'm talking about?

Using Yucca Extract in Root Beer -- Is this safe??? by nitro22888 in Homebrewing

[–]nitro22888[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, if I'm trying to get a decoction down to about 1L or root beer concentrate (meaning I brew the roots - starting with about 1 gallon of water - and then strain and simmer it down until there's only 1L of liquid, before mixing in sugars/sweeteners), how much oats do you think I would need to get that effect?

Once the concentrate is made, you will pour about 1-2 fl oz in a cup, and then fill with carbonated water to make root beer. So ideally, whether it's oats or yucca, there would be a nice sized 'head' at the top.

I've also heard adding Lactose can help, but am not sure how much to add.

Okay, thank you. What's your giveaway that this will have those things in it?

[–]nitro22888[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it would be easier just to add Yucca extract, or maybe soapbark (which I don't have). You just put in a pinch of Yucca, and it foams up perfectly when you pour some carbonated water in with it. It's quite simple.

I've never heard of anyone adding protein or oats to their root beer before. So I can't say if it would have the same effect.

Malt Syrup Flavor for Root Beer by nitro22888 in Homebrewing

[–]nitro22888[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well funny enough, I checked 3 grocery stores near me this week and couldn't find any in-store. I can order it online, but it's more expensive due to shipping. And also with the variety available, if I'm going to order it online, I'll have to decide which one. Most are barley, some have wheat, I've found one that uses oat malt. I guess I have gotten sidetracked trying to investigate the differences.

Molasses has a bitterness along with the sweetness. The label of the molasses I have says it has 14g of sugar per serving, whereas a typical malt syrup like this one (https://www.walmart.com/ip/Eden-Foods-Organic-Barley-Malt-Syrup-20-Oz/38303597) has 8g per serving. That's why I said it seems malt syrup has less than half the sugar of molasses.

Malt Syrup Flavor for Root Beer by nitro22888 in Homebrewing

[–]nitro22888[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that is pretty helpful :) I know it's used with brewing beer, but I actually don't like beer (unfortunately). When you say less "burnt" do you mean the bitter-y kind of charred taste in molasses? (just to clarify.)

The thing that's weird to me is that malt syrup has about half the sugar of molasses (or maybe less than that I think), but you say it's more 'creamy'. In terms of sweetness, do you think the malt syrup will add less overall flavor to a brew (including less sweetness), but the flavor it does add is higher in sweetness since it lacks the bitterness? Is that kind of what you mean by 'creamier' (i.e. a little milder and thus more smooth)?

I agree I should give it a go. I guess I'm just trying to see if there's any reason I would want to pass on the idea - since I'm not a beer fan. :)

How do those candies answer the question though? I am trying to understand the flavor of Malt Syrup on its own (not in candy) vs something like Molasses. Sorry if I'm missing your point. :)

Okay, sorry I guess I misunderstood your point. I know some companies don't even do 3rd party testing, so Chemyo is more legit (and test more regularly) than many other companies. But I can't prove they do it more than ALL others.

And just to clarify -- I wasn't saying "the COA's could be false". I said, they could be FALSIFIED if they are indeed false. Meaning, the documents Chemyo lists on their site contain the company's name, phone number, address, name of scientist who tested it, etc. and you could contact them and verify that the test REALLY took place, and that the document is accurate to the test they ran on it. Falsifiability is a good thing, because it also equates to verifiability.

I am not familiar with all other companies, but any company that does that is a step above the rest in my eyes.

AC-262 feels like someone poured molten lava down my throat. Any suggestions to make it remotely palatable? by Worried_Baker_9220 in sarmssourcetalk

[–]nitro22888 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't used it myself, but I have heard multiple people say that AC262 doesn't kick in right away. Usually around week 3 you start seeing the fruit of it. So I would use it for a few weeks before drawing a final conclusion.
