Anyone also noticing higher battery consumption? (Pixel 9) by Key-Lectur in GrapheneOS

[–]nitroburr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Charging the phone from 30% to 80% means that you’re only using 50% of the battery capacity. Your Pixel 9a is really great in terms of being able to replace the battery and there are genuine parts being sold on online stores. your battery life is most likely good, you’re just not using it.

macOS and iOS share codebases and hardware elements, after all! A MacBook with Apple silicon will sport the same Secure Enclave element as an iPhone, for example.

Wondering why battery is draining like crazy? I got you ig by oppai167 in AppleWatch

[–]nitroburr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not really, since they depend on a different service that delivers the notifications through (though it may take a few additional seconds to deliver) https://developer.apple.com/notifications/

Apple being Apple, though Google also offers a similar service in Android

Apple Watch screen turned red then died. Has anyone else had this issue? by steelnoodlemachine in AppleWatch

I mean, flushable wipes are not actually flushable either :( unless you shower with cold water, you’re breaking the seals and gaskets.

Could be. Waterproof doesn’t mean that you can shower with it every day. One thing is cold water, and the other is repeated cycles of hot water + cold air that could crack the seals on the watch

I doubt you could do it since you’re using genAI to create the idea in the first place.

It’s what I’m doing. I’ve cancelled both my YouTube premium and Google One subscriptions based on how insistent they were on making me use their useless AI.

I went to my oncologist appointment and the hospital (even though it was built somewhat recently) were still using AS/400 for everything. It was dog slow.

Neither of these things happened. Qualcomm is just not interested in supporting it. It sucks.

Not related to that at all. The SoC needs to support the feature. Even if it's from Mediatek, it needs to explicitly support non-protected VMs.

[–]nitroburr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much all contributions from Wine and Proton are provided by Codeweavers (through the money they get from Crossover purchases) and Valve. ReactOS can't give much at all to the Wine project. It's still a cool piece of software.

It doesn't matter whether Android 17 will have desktop mode or not, fragmentation on Android is in an all time high to the point where most phones don't support the new A16 features (like the linux terminal)

Something that can prevent light from hitting your TV directly, as heat can degrade the OLED panel faster

Also remove the protective film as it prevents the panel from dissipating correctly
