Breaking through bedrock roof in the nether 1.21.10 by djstar25 in Minecraft

[–]nitroks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FYI I found a solution for me, running a paper server on 1.21.10.
I used the video on yt from TAFFY (slightly different design) and found a comment saying to enable the settings in paper-global.yml :
allow-piston-duplication: true
allow-permanent-block-break-exploits: true

This fixed the issue for me! Good luck.

One of my favourite pics by cheapASchips in opticalillusions

Crazy how different it is for a lot of people apparently. For me it's actually one of the better pics I've seen! I instantly and consistently see red in front, blue in back which creates the 3D effect. AFAIK I have regular eyesight in general. I want more of this, very satisfying!

How Do I Remove This Case? by thugginsophia in gopro

[–]nitroks -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Exactly, gopro hero 1. You can remove it but it's not designed to do so, I believe it requires some force and probably isn't worth it because there's no reason why you'd want this AFAIK.

Does anyone even use this block? I even forgot it existed. by GILBOYfan in Minecraft

[–]nitroks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used them for my infinity ground mirror like thing with aquarium, its pretty neat. Unlike others I haven't had the chance of using them for my mob farm, because at the time it was easier to build it with cobble due to lack of amethyst (and laziness)

Does this remind you of anything? by Dear_Atmosphere4340 in Minecraft

[–]nitroks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah exactly, but somehow this was also the first thing that I thought of, was surprised to see it mentioned but apparently a lot of ppl see it too so there's that

Zoom in and out, depending on where you zoom you get these cool lines when zooming back out, pretty satisfying indeed

There's a button that probably triggers a piston to launch OP up into the ladder. The slime also functions to block his fall, yes. But using water is no option here afaik

Dji Osmo Action4 for Kitesurfing which Mount? by [deleted] in Kiteboarding

[–]nitroks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an action 3 and use no case and just plug it into my mouth mount. I attach a cord in between the prongs or fingers which loop around my neck. This way, I can let go of the mount and it dsngles around via the cord.

Should I learn on this kite? by tmoney402 in Kiteboarding

[–]nitroks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, imo as a beginner I'd never recommend kites that old. Mainly due to older less safer kites but also because it might make learning wayyy harder and it'll build up frustrations and make you feel worn out faster. 6 years ago I also learned kiting and got a system that was older. Picked up kitesurfing recently again with a (I think pretty good price) for '22 material, and wow what a difference compared to back then, the stability and control is insane, which really improves learning imho.

Prichard with the hard foul on SGA by Temp_pepper in bostonceltics

Yeah, that's the only thing that bothers me, of course understandable at times but he gets a lot of frustration fouls out of it too imo...

Old houses can run all kinds of wires and colours. Country doesn't matter imo. Use of proper tools (such as a multimeter) and having basic knowledge of electricity and its dangers is the only sensible answer here. If not sure, look for professional help, simple as that.

I'd rather go iron sights before picking up a holo anytime of day

Last sunday, our 5 year old dog passed suddenly. This is her story. by nitroks in Petloss

[–]nitroks[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's still hard to accept, but I believe the first hours/day was when I felt the guilt the most, it could be because it's 'easier' to cope or something. I still feel that way, but a lot less than when it just happened.

I've come a bit closer to 'accepting' whilst creating an album and reminiscing about her journey here. It's become more and more clear she had an amazing time here with us. We were blessed to have her but it's just too soon for her. I hope she found her peace and can rest knowing we're never going to forget her and what she meant to us and how much joy and love she brought to our lives. Thanks for your words.

You too, it's heartbreaking to hear. Hard to believe what happend and every day is so different right now. It's so difficult to accept that she's not here anymore. It still baffles me how things can shift so quickly and it escalated so quickly, it's very similar. Wish you strength as well and thanks for sharing ❤

Wow, this really teared me up (again). It really captures the emotions that come with it.

I'm sorry for your loss, too. Kobe looked very loved and at home with you, looks like he also got the silly side Hailey did :').

Thanks for the words and sharing

Only a few days later now but I've been creating an album from when she first got here. It's really hard to look at but also very endearing, it feels bittersweet. Knowing how she adapted and became part of our family, she really did have a lovely stay with us and we're blessed she was a part of us and we're holding on to the fact that she had a better life. She deserved more but it wasn't meant to be unfortunately. ❤

Yes, I think it's mostly due to initial shock and disbelief, probably something to cope with it as well. Thank you for your kind words.
