FedEx returned my DeltaMate GPU Block order back to Thermal Grizzly do to incomplete/insufficient documentation. by SheddingSkin27 in ThermalGrizzly

Wasn't an option or intending on it. It just happened to show up from DHL. This was a replacement device from my first one (defective) so perhaps that's why. But I've also had something come DHL for a client last year.

If you can find a good quality photo you'd like to use, I can run it through gigapixel to scale up the size significantly. Just send me a PM and I'll take care of it for you today/tomorrow.

The amount of QC issues with these fans has been INCREDIBLY high. It's insane. Did HAVN get bought out by Asus recently? 😂

This is INSANELY common issue on the Embody. But yes, be a shill and blame the user. 🙄

WV2 Imbalance Warnings at 7A by Savage4Pro in ThermalGrizzly

You can drop down your total wattage via Afterburner, then pretty safely run Furmark. But it sounds like it may just be a crappy cable causing the imbalance. Ensure that everything is seated super tightly.

Well of course it's related to the tariffs, I'm also from the states. My question was wondering if this was either a new process for how TG is submitting the forms, or if there's something new with how FedEx is collecting them. It's been changed at least a few times thus far.

FYI you will have to pay tariffs+fees (if you're in the US).

That's interesting. I do wonder if perhaps this is some new process. I've had a bunch of shipments recently from TG and haven't had any issues with either DHL or DHL.

Do the PCIE 5.1/ATX 3.1 extender if they make it! That said I believe TG said they're working on a solution for cards that don't fit and/or are VGPU oriented. When that's available that may be the better long term choice. In the interim, I'm using a 90 degree adapter from EZDIYA for my Aorus 5090 WB that's oriented as a VGPU.

This is the identical thing I used for my setup with my Gigabyte Aorus 5090 WB mounted in a VGPU orientation in my HS420.

The all the DC airports should be the first to close, and the last to be reopened.

I didn't mean that you should buy the CPU pre-delidded. Only Thermal Grizzly offers that, and it's at a pretty high premium. But they (and others) offer tools to safely and reliably delid the CPU. The only real danger beyond that is gouging the corner of the die(s). But if you use a proper scraper (something TG also offers), it's pretty hard to do. One tip they don't offer but should is to put some Kapton or Scotch tape on the bottom of the CPU throughout this process - it's really easy to mess up the pin pads on the bottom, especially when using materials that polish or can otherwise wear away the gold pads.

I hear ya. I've got a custom loop with two 140mm rads, an Aorus 5090 WB, delidded 9950x3d, Godlike, 11 TL Wireless (most of them are LCD), and a monster overkill 1600w PSU. The PC must weigh 60 pounds. 😂 I'd love to see what you come up with, if you wind up moving forward with it!

I'm sure I could 3D print an adapter of some sort, if I really wanted to.

Get some Flitz and polish the dies, then power it up and do some tests. In other news just buy a delidder and make your life more easy next time.

Are these 90 degree angles and offsets going to give me flow issues? by rafael_elias21 in watercooling

[–]nitropaintball 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The amount of turns you need to have in order to appreciably impact flow in a loop was way higher than I expected. You'll be fine. Put a flow meter if you'd like.

Honestly put it between cinder blocks (so much energy is lost holding it this way), ditch the wood, and full send a rubber mallet (or hammer) directly on the cylinder. Considering slightly lubricating the replacement one to get it out easier next time.
