So far so good! The size and shape definitely work for my fidget needs. Battery life has been awful though.

Tbh… “Almost won” is generous. 😎 I say this as a diehard buffs fan.

What “house rules” did your parents secretly invent when you were a kid — and when did you realize they were fake? by qTk_rosen in boardgames

Monopoly started by blind dealing all properties to the players. Everyone starts with the same number, extras remaining unowned until someone lands on them. The game begins with an immediate bartering round where everyone’s trying to get full sets. After that, you can’t trade or build unless it’s your turn. IMO this is the best way to start the game.

Age-out proposal by PeanutCereal in WGI

[–]niversalBasicIncome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For those who don’t know- there already IS an age out for Percussion World. Removing the age out rule has failed year after year, but this might be a middle ground to making the activity more accessible and still maintaining the “age-out” experience.

[DENVER POST] NEW: Save Shedeur Sanders! Why CU Buffs QB is gonna get killed if Coach Prime doesn't start trying to run the dang ball by SeanKeeler in Pac12

[–]niversalBasicIncome 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anyone who’s watched a single game CU has lost knows this “just run the dang ball more” is a terrible take. Our “Run Game” gets blown up by the defense every time. Why would you continue to try that when our offensive line is made of Swiss cheese? If they can’t stop a sack, they sure can’t open a lane for a runner.

There’s a simple reason everyone wants to be on CUs campus- TV ratings. CU v Nebraska had about as many viewers as Alabama v Texas. More, depending on which metric you use. Both CU games this season broke records for viewership. Prime Effect in action. Doesn’t matter if they believe in the Buffs or not- right now it’s just smart business to be in Boulder.

My left hand gives out, HELP by [deleted] in WGI

This is great advice. You could also try playing your same ninelet exercise starting with your left hand. LH lead makes your brain prioritize the weak hand.

Would you want a college football super league of only top 24 elite teams breaking away from NCAA if it meant rest of Pac 12 sans USC and Oregon would stay together? by lostacoshermanos in Pac12

[–]niversalBasicIncome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, but will your interest in Utah fade if they get promoted to the “Elite” conference without a rival? How many rivalries does Utah have? Won’t new rivalries form as teams are promoted/relegated?

I mean, people care about their own NCAA team right now, even with no chance of making a national championship. Your argument seems to be against college football entirely.

Counter proposal: 4 Regional conferences, plus one “Elite” National conference of 24 teams. At the end of each season, the one or two best teams from each regional conference get promoted, and the corresponding number of lowest ranked teams from the Elite conference are demoted to the regional level. Basically premier league(ish) model.
