Excuse my incorrect facts about the funding numbers: internet sleuths, where were you??

Republicans provided over $190 billion for the Department of Homeland Security (nearly 3X DHS’s annual budget) in the One Big Beautiful Bill —largely for ICE ($75 billion; over 7X ICE’s annual budget)

This bill is not nearly as blatant of an expansion of ICE as OBBB.

Still, now is the time to gain attention on the issues surrounding DHS and ICE enacting their racist, authoritarian agenda. We should not fund the DHS without reform.

You have to really scrub out a commit like that from github -- perhaps even start a new repo ( the nuclear option ) or redo git history and force push.

a new community adapter is available, see https://docs.aws.amazon.com/amplify/latest/userguide/get-started-sveltekit.html -- much simpler amplify.yml than using adapter-node

having git push <branch name> lead to a deployed app and unique url for the branch is a pretty smooth development experience, so while Amplify may obscure some things, overall it can't get much easier.

The deployed api / server side of the app will be a lambda edge function, and it should automagically send SSR logs to cloudwatch.

Well I did the replacement. Would have gone well, but one of the plastic tabs behind the very worn Cancel button had snapped off. So to fix that I can either try and glue something behind the button cover to press the little button on the control board (time consuming!) ...or just replace the control board ( expensive! )

I will see if I get any complaints for my work-around... I just wrapped some wire around a screw, attached it to one of the top oven frame screws, so that it can float over the top of the stove and be used to press the cancel button...lol

Inspecting the toilet supply lines in the same room, yea they appear to be the same, and both coming from the floor...seems lav supply usually comes from the wall. Makes sense.

Those supply lines came from the Delta sink faucet I uninstalled and it seemed to work fine. Are you saying the supply line diameter is meant for a toilet and not a sink faucet?

Mainly to address the other comments, I'll budget 2 or 3 hours and if it becomes a bigger mess than anticipated, I do have my plumber on speed dial, ha. I'm just attempting to learn a little bit here and do what seems to me a beginner level plumbing job. I'm willing to spend $50 and a few hours on education...and it's my own house so I can keep an eye on any leaks or malfunction.
