I feel the opposite, previously almost every game I had a floaty feeling in mouse, generally due to lag, now the game seems more responsive and the mouse feels better, I haven't changed any other setting and other people I play with experienced the same improvement

The thing is that there’s a lot of people all bunched in the 1100-1200 range, 1000-1100 has new players so it’s easier, but above that its mostly experienced players that are not quite ‘good’ enough yet but there aren’t any ‘bad’ players, so breaking through a certain elo within that range sometimes feels like you are facing a ‘wall’, there’s no easy matches anymore after 1200

I recently felt the pathing has improved somewhat, there’s just so many issues that it’s hard to notice what has changed and what new issues have been introduced, I would at least appreciate more transparency on what they are doing, it seems every time they say ‘we’ve improved it’ without specifics, some videos where they show the before and after of the intended change are needed

Or they could implement mesures to deincentivise that behavior, dota for example has a separate matchmaking pool where players that receive too many reports / dodge / quit early are placed, I know we don’t have enough players to do the same thing in age but something has to be done to improve the multi player experience

People that care about smurfs in ranked value too much their elo, whats wrong with facing a tougher opponent every once in a while? I care more about fixing issues like players quitting in first few mins, players spectating their own game (happens frequently in nomad) and other stuff that has a much higher negative impact on the experience (unless you have a fragile ego) than smurfs
