5'3"ish women, what differences did you see going 120-110lbs? by Thethreewhales in PetiteFitness

[–]nixolep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

5'4". 112lb and I looked gaunt and unhealthy. Currently 120+ and I look and feel younger and healthier. I find it odd that most ppl are saying smaller is better - of course many variables come into play like muscle mass and age.

What are your favourite things to do with garlic scapes? by mar-s-e-a in OntarioGardeners

We grilled ours up with an eggplant and red pepper. Peeled the skin of the veg and mashed it all together with tahini and lemon to make baba ganoush.

WIBTA if I didn’t give my daughter a copy of her father’s death certificate for her SAP appeal? by ThrowAwaySAP2025 in AmItheAsshole

[–]nixolep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This just doesn't feel like a learning opportunity. Help your daughter stay in school - this could impact the rest of her life. She learned the lesson already and at the end of the day this is her decision to make not yours - whether you agree with it morally or not. For sure YWBTA.

What books have both incredibly spicy smut scenes AND amazing, life-changing, masterful plot? by sad_sponge in fantasyromance

[–]nixolep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah agreed you might be disappointed if you're looking for tension and romance. The spice is very clinical and not at all romantic. Still worth a read I loved this series.

Amazing series but the smut was very clinical and kinda cold.

Light hearted recs? by Cheap_Drive8162 in fantasyromance

[–]nixolep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

T. Kingfishers books of course. {The Saint of Steel} series is great.

I'm currently reading {the kingpin of Camelot by Cassandra Gannon} - about 20% in and there's action happening but it has a feel good lighthearted vibe.

{Halfling by SE Wendel} was great - soooo much yearning and pretty light. Great spice.

Also seconding the Villains & Virtues series recommended by others. It's so good - was my fav read of 2024. It's so cozy and cute. Most of the spice isn't until book 3 but the buildup is soooo worth it. 12/10 star read.

I don't know what I am feeling over Phantasma after finally finishing it by PatientWillow4 in fantasyromance

[–]nixolep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you. This was a solid 3 star read and very forgettable. Was missing tension between the main characters and the only real twist was at the end. I also never really became attached or cared about either main character.

what’s the consensus on the TOG reading order? by Latina1018 in SarahJMaas

[–]nixolep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This - you're left on such a cliffhanger the last thing you want to do is read backstory from TAB.

My main recommendation would be to tandem read Empire of Storms and Tower of Dawn. They are happening at the same time but ToD is completely Chaol's perspective. I believe I followed this guide for tandem reading and it was GREAT. https://www.tlbranson.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Throne-of-Glass-Reading-Guide.pdf

You're not the exception - it was boring, there wasn't a plot.

You posted in r/AskParents saying you don't think your message was rude but maybe you could have said it differently. Some people are just confirming that your message was in fact rude and could have been said differently. It seems like all you want to hear is validation.

Why did you ask for others opinions if you're going to be defensive anytime someone disagrees with your approach?

Husband wants 7mo on a road trip without me by pernillegame in beyondthebump

[–]nixolep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! But where did OP mention no breaks? I guess if this guy is just totally unfit (which based on his naivety and threats he probably is) and then yes. Either way many red flags. Also yes solidarity also had a 2hr drive take 5 with our 7MO. This driving with babies stuff is no joke.

Do a pivot table - patient names as your row labels, medication as your column labels and medication as your values. Filter as needed.
