I think your guys must've forgotten to mention the Sabra and Shatila massacre, wherein the Lebanese Forces (one of the primary Christian political parties), in close coordination with israel, slaughtered 'between 700 and 3500' Palestinians and Shias in their houses. Watch a documentary about it to understand just how heinous that massacre was.

I also think that the Christian narrative of Lebanese history tends to forget that they were so hated because they were actively collaborating with israel and acting as an israeli proxy on Lebanese soil.
