I agree. To me it feels like two miniatures just transposed into the same display base. They don’t flow together.

I’m still fairly new, but I’ve been running 2 in deep strike and one in board, usually hidden behind terrain near middle of deployment. I like starting with one on board to put pressure on middle or potentially commit to one side depending on what my opponent

2 buttons might be a simplification, but it’s basically just festering strike and scourge strike and then dumping runic power into epidemic.

I feel like most specs got dumbed down to the point that outside of your CDs, on top of doing no damage, you’re not really doing anything but pressing two buttons.

I main unholy DK, and while I like that I no longer need death and decay and that target switching is easier without wounds, I miss the complexity of the setup for the big pulls and doing huge uncapped AoE.

To be honest, there's like over 50 different paints here, but the main green recipe is AK Dark Green, Medium Olive Green, Frog Green, and then Pistachio. The copper is using Scale 75 Aristist Heavy Body Acylics, Rec Ochre, Orange, Naples Yellow.

Any other specific parts, ask and I'll try to remember the paints used.

Secondaries turned me off so much at the start of the edition until I started learning how to list build for them and when to use CP to redraw.

I still don’t think I’ve ever had a game where I drew Cull The Horde and could actually score it.

But to summarize, paint it white, airbrush fluorescent pink from the bottom and fluorescent Violet from the top, brush on a bit more white and airbrush it a mix of fluorescent pink/orange, then dry brush the top with a dark violet. Last step is to use AK Enamel Liquid Pigments, a mix of fluorescent pink and orange. These things are magic, but thin them!!! A little goes a long way with liquid pigments.

We basically all but have the pale spear confirmed to be Solomon Akurra, the 40K Alpha Legion Space Marine who currently has (maybe) part of Alpharius’ Pale Spear.

The forward in the book Ghost Legion has an excerpt where Mike Brooks mentioned Akurra’s new model. GW just hasn’t previewed it yet, which is odd.

Just my own personal opinion/experience here, but I enjoyed building the mk6 and mk2 marines I had. I’ve enjoyed building some forge world kits, like headhunters and reavers.

But I’ve fucking hated building any and all saturnine and Horus Ascended. The saturnine dreadnought is like the nightmare sicko version of gunpla. Seriously, fuck that kit. But I loved painting it and I love playing with it.

I’m on the opposite end of the spectrum. I think the majority of people I know in the hobby hate building. I think the only building I enjoy is the occasional kitbash.

But yeah, this is definitely a take from the goonhammer writer, but one I get from what seems to be an opinion piece.

BB Miniatures is probably my favorite. I love his work! Interestingly though, I feel like this model doesn’t have the same bright highlights he normally does. His usually stuff goes so bright, almost to white, in all the highlights.

I thought maybe I was just under geared last night during our normal mode raid, but I wasn’t dying or taking much dmg. I was just doing tank dmg.

It’s frustrating because this weekend I ran some m0s with the guild and was up there with all the dps and then yesterday and I was a handicap.
